hi..want to ask people here..volte for digi now is a subscription service..when the credit expires..the volte symbol will disappear and the line will change to umts..volte will reappear when you top up ... so the question is..with 3g will be terminated next year..is volte will remain usable when the credit expires or it will change to 2g for phone call ...

Is there an issue with digi app? It keeps saying no connection and if I choose to dismiss, it asked me enter my number and OTP but couldn't receive any OTP.

At last appears on my number, just like Gold Moderator having.

But I don't have any urge to subscribe it (as lite data user). Also afraid that it dissappears later

i got free 3mbps internet for 1 hour but never redeem because meh.

During MNP, no payment is required at DiGi Centres. We will receive blank/dummy/stand-by SIM card from DiGi. Wait for SMS to MNP-o. If everything goes well for BOTH telcos and we reply correctly to the SMS to "AGREE" to port out, the MNP should be effective after 48 hours from the SMS we replied.

VALIDITY is divided into two (2) types:
1) SIM Validity = allowing calls and SMS.
2) DATA Validity = Internet access via 2G/EDGE/3G/4G/5G

After MNP to DiGi NEXT, just reload/topup RM30 to get 30 days SIM validity. Then, reload RM5 (but no added SIM validity). Now, the total is RM35 in our account.

With this RM35, we can str8 buy the NEXT35 plan. Both reload/topup and buying plans can be done thru the MyDiGi app.

So, monthly commitment is just RM35 for 30 days SIM validity and 30 days data/internet validity.

Now, the DiGi's NEXT PRE-paid has "Always Active" feature. "Always Active" means our reload/topup will always have SIM validity whenever we purchase the NEXT35 plan. So, if we reload RM5 today, RM10 tmrw, RM5 next week, RM20 the week after, so long as we subscribe/buy the NEXT35 (or other monthly plan within NEXT offerings), BOTH SIM and data will always active for use. No need to worry about VALIDITY anymore.

Validity (especially SIM validity) is the major weakness in any PRE-paid services/plans from all telcos. So, some telcos offer 365 days SIM validity (to ensure we can at least make outgoing calls within 365 days). But to get this 365 days SIM validity, we have to pay like RM30 or RM28 or RM35 from various telcos. With DiGi PRE-paid NEXT, no need to worry about validity. Just reload RM35 and buy the NEXT35 plan every month.

As for me, since we are stuck at home (most of the time and most of us), me just reload RM30 every month but DID NOT buy the NEXT35. Coz, me just subscribe to free 1GB MCO quota until 31 December. On 1st January 2022, then only me will buy the NEXT35. Currently, me's account have accumulated more than RM140 for next year subscription of NEXT35.

Next prepaid also has 365/RM30 to maintain your number, offered to some or whether offered to all Next users this I’m not too sure. I have it in my Next BOS but it’s not for me. There is a cheaper 30days add-on RM15 unlimited social and 3GB data. During MCO Digi increase the data in the BOS.

But there is no way to switch to Digi Live 28 now. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well that particular postpaid number has a discount of RM10 as long as I stay with the same plan. That's why I am still thinking unless there is something like prepaid 28 that has unlimited call, I would be paying more if I downgrade to prepaid.

Normally I can get average more than 50-100Mbps from my Digi but to be online in 5Mbps is a nightmare. Google services such as Youtube load super slow. Had to depend on my backup Umobile for Internet today.
