Or is it just me? |

QUOTE(JungWoo @ Nov 5 2021, 10:14 PM) https://www.digi.com.my/broadband/home-fibreAs long your area has Unifi and the port is open for Digi Fibre, then you can subscribe it already. However, you'll get to enjoy some extra monthly rebates if you're an existing Digi Postpaid user. |

My friend asks, he knows Call Forwarding / Call Divert service is available among telcos.
But how about SMS Forwarding / SMS Divert? Is it available for Digi or other telcos? Can it be done on carrier level, where the SMS can be forwarded/divert to another phone number, even when the phone is switched off (so it doesn't rely on apps to do it)? QUOTE(Hummingbird @ Nov 28 2021, 09:18 AM) I doubt it will still continue to operate separately in long run. It doesn’t make sense for private corp. Or maybe, they could rebrand it as...Celcom is the postpaid branding, while Digi is the prepaid branding, or vice versa? Similar like Maxis and Hotlink? |

QUOTE(Gold_Moderator @ Dec 16 2021, 01:46 AM) Lesson learnt: USSD menus are still much more reliable than MyDigi app? Therefore, USSD menus are here to stay with many more years to come, even after nationwide 3G shutdown. wongmunkeong liked this post

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Apr 22 2022, 03:35 PM) QUOTE(azhar75 @ Apr 22 2022, 04:32 PM) Looks like we have to walk-in to get clarifications why during Grace Period, we cannot receive calls/SMS/TAC/MSOS code even if under strong VoLTE coverage and SIM 1 slot. Me faced the same issue with Hotlink last year. On the 14th-day of the Grace Period, suddenly cannot receive calls/SMS/TAC/MSOS. They said they have system "glitch". Me don't bother to wait. Reload RM5 and MNP-o immediately. During DiGi's Grace Period, even on the 3rd week, still can receive calls/SMS/TAC/MSOS (SIM 1) even though data (SIM 2) is set to other telco. QUOTE(MyProLife @ Apr 23 2022, 11:46 AM) During grace period the chance of completely missed call will be very high due to network fluctuations For Digi, if your prepaid account is under grace period, Digi will not allow your phone to connect to their 4G network, so your phone will only be connected to 2G network. You force your phone to 4G LTE Only also no use. - Your phone will refuse to connect to Digi 4G network. You won't get any signal bar, so Digi VoLTE won't work as well. - Emergency calls through Digi 4G network won't work also. - Digi VoWiFi also won't work even if you put your phone to Flight mode. In that case, any incoming calls and SMS will be through 2G network ONLY. If you're in a place that doesn't have 2G coverage but has strong 4G coverage, it's useless also, cuz you won't be getting incoming calls/SMS until you go to a place that has 2G coverage. To be able to connect to Digi 4G network again as usual, you have to make sure your Digi account status is Active (perform topup or extend validity). |

QUOTE(jycy98 @ Apr 25 2022, 02:51 PM) VoWifi does work on airplane mode. tried it yesterday using Samsung phone, still can receive phone call. VoWiFi does work on airplane mode, provided if your Digi line is in Active status. If it is in grace period, VoWiFi logo won't even appear at all. I can confirm this, because I have a Digi number that is currently on grace period. QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Apr 25 2022, 03:17 PM) Digi not going to turn off 2G as well? MCMC dont care? None of any Malaysian telco plans to turn off 2G anytime soon, for the sake of compatibility on older devices, and MCMC are aware of that.Never understand how VoWifi works...Is it only for outgoing calls or incoming calls too? Its different with Wifi Calling is it? Becaused i remembered turning on Wifi Calling and my father said he couldnt call me at all for whole day. Was wondering what happened coz that time account is active and signal strong. Until i remembered wifi calling. |
