For mandarin telco, you should have tested when gx plans are still available
If you are a power user (in phone) then not worth it unless you go subscribe postpaid
*
i tested it more than 2 years ago, the coverage and speed were so bad that i used for 5 days and port out immediately.

maybe i will forget about trying u mobile again.

I had this rm2 unknown recurring charges for SMS subscribed content which I never subscribed at all on my digi prepaid sim more than 15 years ago. and digi could not resolve it for me therefore I ported out to other telcos and never go back (on my main line).

surprised to see that even now it has same old tactic again.

Is there something wrong with Digi line these days? I just noticed it that the mobile connection always very low, 1 or 2 bars only compared to Yodoo. Every now and then, I have to reset the SIM to make it connect to the network again.

yoodo (celcom) is good for at least 95% of time for my usage. support yoodo!! tongue.gif

hotlink is even better right? 😉
*
in the past, yes. In terms of coverage and speed but it loses out to yoodo (celcom).

But plan wise hotlink pantas is nice especially the rm45 plan.

not yet but they did some magic tweak
digi prepaid have next 48 for 5G, comes with 85gb and the actual download speed is stable
esim need to visit digi express store or official branch, for prepaid is FOC

if choose auto renew, they have more benefits compare to one time purchase:

Thanks. For auto renewal, I just need to make sure there is enough balance/credits inside for the monthly subscription to be deducted rite?

Then what about the credit validity? It is not the same as plan validity rite?

QUOTE(soonwai @ Oct 28 2023, 01:17 PM)
Prepaid can. FOC at Digi Store in Jan 2022.

yup, it will auto renew, digi will auto extend the validity to follow the plan, always active feature 👍

pair this up with hotlink pantas, it's the ultimate combo for my use case laugh.gif
*
Icic. That’s good feature and the irritating part for prepaid is the plan is not auto renewable. Good example will be hotlink.

will try to use the digi prepaid after my current yes 5g prepaid rm25 plan expired after 16 nov 2023.

i had used digi prepaid the next plan this year before, i would say that digi network has been improved comparing to the past. if it is integrated with celcom. i am sure it will be lagi better. tongue.gif

yes 5g rm25 plan is cheap but too bad there are many blind spots for 4G and now 5G is not of full coverage yet...

was so close to port over to yes until i test drive in few malls and didn’t reply the message digi sent laugh.gif
*
Icic. Good.

After I used yes 5G. It is nice to have unlimited data but I would prefer to have connection at all time since my usage is mostly below 20GB if I dun do speedtest like when I am on yes 5G.

That’s why I consider to switch back to yoodo but no harm to try Digi prepaid as long as esim is supported.

I went ioi Puchong mall and after some research I got another yes 5g sim again

No point to get new SIM number from Digi when I already using and already facing blind zone at kfc
*
serious? so bad?

i am using yes 5g prepaid rm25 plan now which expires in the mid of this month.

not going to renew the plan and will try the digi next 20 plan for one month to see how.
if it is good, then i may just stick to it. i dun exactly use so much unless i purposely do so like i what i did for yes 5g, one speed test on 5g -> 1gb gone. tongue.gif but due to the fact it is unlimited, no need to think twice. tongue.gif

I had received my Digi prepaid SIM card (new no), they just put inside my mailbox even I am not at home.

So my question is that the activation date is decided by me or? Meaning I can decide when to activate it or it is already activated by default?
