last time in same situation, I buy RM3 daily pass.. it saves your monthly quota at least if that helps

ideally, need to time future reload for 3 days before the monthly sub auto renews

Yes, that's right. Last time my free credit went missing and digi ask me for screenshot, that's when I realized the offer changes after reloading.

Yes, the credit is waiting for your auto-renewal so you just need to ensure you have at least RM10 balance on the due date.
