since the 1 coin - 1 cent is it means normal day at least 1% cash back in "shopee coin method" , because for other transaction if i spend 10k means i get 10k coins which worth RM100 in shopee ....... then shopee,dining,entertainment & paywave will be 2% cash back in "shopee coin method" , am i right?

You can only earn up to 5,000 Shopee coins only using this credit card in a month. Anything more than that they will give you TreatsPoints but TreatPoints return rate is much lower.

But yes. 1 Shopee coin = 1% cash back

oh which means max 5k........then not good for me d haha......treatpoint for me just useless.....currently i only using FCB Visa and the Amex 2 card.....so in that case i will not apply haha

My own calculation for GRAB card below
* assume 1,600 grab point = RM10

normal retail RM3 = 1 grab point means about 0.25% (need spend RM4800)
online/oversea RM1 = 2 grab point means about 1.25% (need spend RM800)
grab transaction RM1 = 5 grab point means about 3.1% (need spend RM320)

so not really a very good deal, as specially normal transaction only 0.25%, it will be good if got for grab transaction only

I've tried applying online for the Maybank Grab Credit Card recently but I received SMS saying that "we regret to inform that we are unable to acceded to your card application. Thank you for your interest shown." I'm pretty sure that I have fulfilled all the t&c (i.e., my annual income is above the requirement, my ctos credit score is very good, I only have another 2 PBB credit cards which I pay off every month and the only loan I got is PTPTN which I duly pay it every month). Is there any other reason that the bank rejected my application?

same here, and i manually use that rejected email reply to their customer service email, and after 2 weeks suddenly i receive the card without any email reply from them haha, funny bank .... this morning i just activate the card

planning to go to thailand vacay as well, is grabpay (scan qr code to pay) there as popular as in msia?

do you know what is the foreign transaction fee for using the grab CC there?

was thinking of using this CC or use wise debit when over there.

maybank card not worth to use oversea, 1 of the highest charges compare to other bank, if not mistaken the additional charges of 2.25% for maybank visa and mastercard , and 2.5% for amex. Normally other bank will have 1 - 1.5% charges, if you want 0% charges then use BigPay Visa or OCBC 365 mastercard or Wise Visa Card
