I think you applied through Maybank2u right ? That is normal behaviour from their system.

I noticed they only start to accept application in 01 July 2020

I have went through the T&C for MBB Grab Platinum Credit card.
Noted that this card will be entitled for x5 Grab reward point if reload into your Grab.

Assuming reload x5 Grab reward points + x3 Grab reward points when payment through Grab account.

Sample of Calculation:
1) 640 Grab points = RM4
2) 1120 Grab points = RM7
3) 2080 Grab points = RM13

If we take x5 + x3 Grab reward points into consideration, the rebate equivalent to 5%

- 2080 Grab points / 8 = RM260 spending
- RM260 x 5% = RM13 return

If so, not bad to holding this card since 5% return.

For me so far good to go for this card and currently using Public Bank Quantum Master Card & Visa Signature card at the moment too, the rebate have fully utilised just few days after statement date, therefore Maybank Grab Mastercard Card look good based on my situation 😁

Just visited Maybank card Center at 1 Utama and applied for Maybank Grab Platinum credit card.

It would likely taking longer time to get the card due to just launch in market yesterday said by Customer Service team

At the moment we only can apply through M2U online application, the Customer Service team from card centre called me just now and FYI too

I just checked my m2u online banking and I can see the Maybank Grab Credit Card account created but under unauthorised

Not planning to use since no physical card on hand.

What I wanted to shared was the credit card application was fast enough, submitted today and credit card account created

To be honest, I actually didn't receive SMS mention application successful, only saw it in M2U online banking

Should be approved I guess haha

And since credit card account created also, now under not authorised, could be pending card activate

My Maybank Grab Platinum card have shared with my partner of GRAB account.

Whenever my partner use GrabFood or GrabCar payment by Maybank Grab Platinum card, my grab account will entitled for x5 points too, sound good value as well.

Knowing that reload and use grab for x8 points but such a inconvenience case if I need to keep reloading and transfer to my partner grab account.

I noticed the x5 points rewards usually credit at 9:30AM.
So far my 3 times all credit same time

Not possible, I recall no cap for Mbb Grab point to be earned.

I have personal received Grab Point in total of 19143, calculating from 01-Oct until today

Is your Maybank Grab Card first transaction for payment?

If so, you need to perform one PIN payment then only able to paywave second transaction onward

If not, can try again another mechanic/shop

My partner of grab account has saved my Grab card.
Whenever order GrabFood, my partner just select that grab card for payment and I still earned the GrabPoint.

Either you top up a big amount and transfer to your family’s Grab account, but never tried top up and payment on this way.

I guess can do so since my card can saved into other Grab account which is not under my name.

Reload to your Grab Account and use GrabPay whenever, whatever translations possible

Yes correct, expect to get 5000 grab points

You can consider reload from your Maybank Grab credit card to your Grab account.

Then use Grab account platform for payment when ordering GrabFood/GrabMart
