Cant they cancel the current card and send a new one?

Hi may I know how long do you have to wait for your card to get approved? Is it 1 month+? Is it via branch?

Sent a card application pdf to mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my since 13/11/2021 till now I called Maybank to check my application status, they said not in the system. Anyone here had experience applying using email...how many weeks it takes for the application to reflect in their system?

Yes, when you send email already by right you should receive an automated email response and also include a ticket number... at the subject you can see something like "........ ISSUE=xxxxxx" <- this is the ticket number

Then when you call the normal customer service, i think they cannot see it exist in system...you need to tell them you actually apply via email and you also have the ticket number, then i think the customer service able to track for you already....
Can tell you either application received or review in progress etc....

and if i can recall (did a while back), you only send 13 and now 26, probably about almost 2 weeks, i think you wait a bit longer? maybe 1 more week... tongue.gif
but call CS again and provide your issue/ticket number better la...that's the best

I called them to unlink the closed card from MAE.
