So all along I thought that Oversized meaning the cutting itself is oversize and it is actually labelled as Oversize. I've bought some oversize shirt from Uniqlo, which is actually oversize. Then I went to adidas looking for oversized long sleeve tee, and I saw this one that I like, but doesn't seem to be oversized cutting, so i ask the staff if this is oversized, he said no this is fitting one but if u wan oversized can buy M if u usually wear S, so I'm like wouldn't the collar part be big as well ? He said no, the collar part will be the same standard size, only the other parts of the shirt will be big, so as a result = oversize

can anyone chip in if this is true ?

Oversize shirt design = body oversize but on collar and wrist part ngam ngam..

Normal shirt design = collar and wrist will be tailor based on Shirt size

Yes thats what the staff meant. He say I usually wear S, then get M if wan oversize, the other part all bigger, but collar part stays the same, I never heard about this before so asking here if it's true.

I think the best way is to judge for yourself by trying it on?

i think what he means is going 1 size up isnt going to be super significant in the collar if it was already a close fit to begin with, while the rest of the shirt would of course be a little roomier.

An oversized fit is just clothing that is roomy without looking too sloppy as opposed to wearing something 2 sizes up. Sometimes though you might have to size down from your usual size when it comea to oversize fits
