Yes thats what the staff meant. He say I usually wear S, then get M if wan oversize, the other part all bigger, but collar part stays the same, I never heard about this before so asking here if it's true.
I think the best way is to judge for yourself by trying it on?i think what he means is going 1 size up isnt going to be super significant in the collar if it was already a close fit to begin with, while the rest of the shirt would of course be a little roomier.
An oversized fit is just clothing that is roomy without looking too sloppy as opposed to wearing something 2 sizes up. Sometimes though you might have to size down from your usual size when it comea to oversize fits
