We can't sign Thiago until we know what to do with Gini. We currently have Hendo Gini Fab Milner Keita Ox Jones for the 3 CM positions. Not to mention Grujic hasn't moved on. If Klopp decides to change to 4-2-3-1 to accommodate Brewster/Minamino/Shaq then there's only 2 CM positions. Remember Klopp said before we just can't keep players for months without playing and suddenly tell them you play the next game.

By January he is free to sign pre-contract with non-english clubs already. No one will be paying fee when they can sign him up and wait 6 months.
