Considering our recent success , I think our club owner shall invest more on players and team . This show the ambition on the club to go higher , the reason I am comparing with Chelsea and Mancity are because our performance is up to their standard.
However when you look on squad depth it really doesn't match and I dare say we overachieve and being quite lucky with injuries. Touch wood mane and salah are injured , do you think klopp being paid 300k a week can do anything on pitch? This is where our squad depth come in handy.
If the owner is not ambitious enough to lead this club is better for them to sell it to more capable owner instead of keep milking it. We are really lucky with injuries and having such a good manager in our club.
I hope we get an oil-rich owner. But then again, oil-rich owners will invest cheap and transform the club from inside out. Liverpool is over a billion probably. Who's gonna pay anyway. The owner can sell, but who's buying? There are various links online to see our value. Forbes valued us in April 2021 as 4.1bil. Some links say 1.4bil. No idea. But definitely above 1bil. Newcastle was sold for 408mil, at an era where we are valued above 1.4bil.However when you look on squad depth it really doesn't match and I dare say we overachieve and being quite lucky with injuries. Haha true what you said, having Klopp is useless if we don't have our top players to play. Can only fingers crossed. Haha. Our owners will not spend, that's a definite. They will want to sell before buying. Liverpool is a business to them. So they will not sell Liverpool below the market value. So FSGout doesn't apply here. This is different from TH&GG era. They made a mess. FSG won 2 of the biggest trophies, EPL and UCL. Well not really they won it, but any owners will collect the honours as theirs. Collecting another person's hard work. So court case doesn't apply unlike THGG era. So, only hope an oil-rich owner come along.
