Note to players for tonite game

-please play to the whistle. Don't stop until the ref stop the play. Don't expect ref to just rule in your favour
-please do the basic things right, like when opponent got free kick just stand on their way until our defend, goalkeeper are ready.

It's good learning experience for him. He wasn't tight enough against auba. Hopefully he learns fast.
Overall, our midfield seems not willing to work hard chasing the ball. We need more pace in midfield. Mina, Jones or naby should come in.

It feels like it's time to shake up a bit our front three... We've been using same formation for some times. Maybe 2 1 formation with one striker up front.

Unfortunately we also don't have match fitness and sharpness

Never going to happen, unless we plan to offload any of our front three. The only logical transfer in strikers dept is to find upgrade for origi... Which I do not know many options. And I think Brewster can do a good job.

Anyway, this will give good idea what we will face in game week 1. It's like last season when we faced Norwich. Our quality should be enough to get three points. But again our strikers are underperforming at the moment...

First game for hendo after injury, hopefully he is match fit.

In recent games, fab looked slow and was dispossessed in few occasions. But I think hendo can give him more protection.

Salah is saving us at the moment. Gomez positioning is a concern. He easily dragged out of zone. Keita is not controlling the midfield. Hendo provided good energy in midfield.

Hopefully we can see the Mina show on second half.

Why are they even questioning the penalty? His arm is too far out, to be considered a normal posture.

Btw, we may be tempted to bring on fabinho. But if he takes too much time on the ball, we will be caught.

Salah single handedly saved us. He deserved to win.

What is the other mistake? I assume you refer to the first goal as well. Maybe yes, coz Klopp expected centre back to be deeper in that situation. I think he's been guilty of trying to play casual once too many... Which shouldn't be his priority
