I have been using Asus VZ 249 monitor for one and half year. I can recommend it for better performance and durability.

If 27” preferably 2k reso means mo money 😅. My budget around 1k monitor

Hi sifus! I’m looking for 24inch monitor, 1080p, 144hz, ips. I’ve done a few research and narrow down to this 3 monitors. Help me choose please or if you have any other suggestion please let me know. My budget is below 1k

1. Acer Nitro XV240YP
2. Asus VG249Q
3. AOC 24G2
*
I'm also looking at these monitors. Which did you pick in the end?

The monitor shortage doesn't really help as it is mostly out of stock.

Actually which among those 3 are better?
the aoc, asus, xv240vp?

Someone said the asus/acer is better quality than aoc? the sales person said aoc might breakdown after 2-3 years.

Asus

I was thinking MSI, but too expensive for its features.

Looks pretty neck and neck for ASUS vs Acer in terms of specs. If i were you, i'd go for the XV240VP - cheaper and better warranty.

Asus and AOC isn't too different in price. Just RM40 extra, but there's some issues with both models too. TS bought which one?

Hi sifus, sorry for the late reply. Just got back from outstation yesterday.

So I bought Asus VG259QM (24.5 inch) because I had a few extra budget and it was superb I tell you.

Went from 75hz (previous monitor and currently made it as 2nd monitor) to 240hz was amazing. It was a huge difference especially playing FPS game.

If I'm still in the previous budget i will choose:

1. Acer XV240YP (because it is cheaper)
2. Asus VG249Q (because of asus laugh.gif )
3. AOC 24G2

Nice, most probably I'll get the Acer too because its about RM100 cheaper than the AOC 24G2 and has 165Hz refresh rate max. Only thing is now everywhere no stock.

Anyone know/has experience with Acer warranty service?

i think u need to catch the right timing for stock available because I think also its high in demand. For my experience, I never had any problem with their warranty/service (also because it rarely malfunctions/spoil)

Yeah, it’s hard to find. And I think the Acer XV240YP is quite new so don’t have a lot of reviews on it. Hahaha

good specs with cheap price I think everyone will sure get their hands on it. Design wise, its very minimalist, almost similar to the KG series. Tt has an overdrive software system to improve gaming experience. Fps and stuff seems fine. My review is based on videos I watched so yeah haha. Ultimately, its very budget friendly.
