I moving from slowmyx to time recently.

I found a fews website that I am accessing to download file cannot access.

Such as

filerio.in
turbobit.net
multiup.org
uptobox.com
1fichier.com

All this site able to access via my slowmyx previously.
No issue to access using Digi as well

Most weird is it able to access via my office's TIME internet. (business plan)

I call/chat to technical support. They cannot access from their end too.

Anyone faces similar issue?

Using TIME right now via cable. seems ok for me.
im not sure if there's anything i did different than normal users.
probably just using Google's Public DNS maybe you can try that?

The only issue i have right now is that the speed isn't as promised.
Whether it's day or night, it's just 100mbps via cable even the ethernet port supports 1000mbps and cable is cat6.
the plan i subscribed is 500mbps.

DNS is set at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 already, still unable to access.
Reported to TIME and still waiting their response.

as far my side, speedtest majority hit 100Mbps, but browsing don't feel much different with my slowymx.

Did you turn on any parental filtering in your router by accident or installed some hosts blocking app on your PC/phone?

Do a standard test at http://dnsleaktest.com/ and tell us which public DNS is resolving your internet addresses. If you still see Time's DNS then you're not setting your DNS servers properly. If it's Google DNS, then it's not due to DNS already something is blocking your access to those sites.

my parental filtering is off.

thanks for the recommendation.

I try to make further adjust in the router, make sure my primary & secondary is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I try to make dnsleaktest, sometime I see google, I able to access above website, some time I still see ns.time.net.my TIME dotCom Berhad and I am unable to access the above website.

It means your device not configured with the public DNS properly and flushed properly, if you still see Time DNS.

If using Windows or Linux, you must manually input your public DNS into your network manager/network adapter settings.

For Android phones, you can try apps such as DNS Changer and start the app before retesting.

The public DNS in your router must be configured under DHCP server settings section not the WAN side for PPPoE because that one will be pushed by Time's own server.

That way each time your router assigns/leases IP to your device it'll push the public DNS instead of your default ISP DNS.

Make sure you restart your router everytime you commit/save the settings just to be sure, then restart your devices/flush DNS thereafter.

Have you changed your IPv6 DNS to Google DNS as well just in case you've enabled IPv6?

Second your suggestion thumbsup.gif . I always disable IPv6 straight away when I get my new router. Malaysian ISPs infra are not really ready yet to fully support IPv6.

I always turn my IPv6 on. Some website might have downtime on IPv4 but not IPv6 sometimes. That's why.

All OK here. Using TIME 1G. Yours still problem?

And why is everyone so focused on DNS being the problem?
