Just got my account set up and approved - so far personally the platform is better than etoro

Since I don't see this mentioned anywhere, would like to remind that beginning in 4th Jan 2021, only the first EUR 2000 worth of deposits into the Invest account is no-fee. Bank transfers will remain no-fee beyond EUR 2000, but other transfer methods will be charged 0.7%.

This EUR 2000 is only applicable to deposits after 4th January 2021. Deposits prior to this date will not have deposit fees backcharged, and will not count towards the EUR 2000 threshold.

As of now, withdrawals are still no-fee.

Deposits into the CFD account is still free, but transferring between Invest and CFD account will activate account monitoring for abuse.

I dont like the new card based fee rule, but at least still got other methods to funding my account.

The pie thing is quite a nice feature and I love it. It makes investments much much easier, and the copy function is now like etoro rd.

Does anyone have any issues with Bank Transfer into T212? I'm facing issues and my payments keep getting declined from my bank account even after I coped all of the bank details exactly as in the app.

I don't dare to try too many time or my bank might freeze my account.

Anyone here have experience in withdrawing back to their debit card?

Originally deposited some funds using the Maybank debit card and requested for a small withdrawal of 5USD which had been approved by Trading 212 on 28th January 2021.

While it's just 3 days since approval I was wondering how long does it usually take for the funds to reach our account?

Anyone here mind sharing the experience.

I've been using bigpay so far - no issues.

I tested their withdrawal function but my debit card was a UK one. It took them about 1 - 2 working days to deposit 1 Euro from T212 to my account

Managed to resolve the issue. Turns out I was trying to use the standard bank transfer between UK banks thinking their account is in UK I should be using international bank transfer through transferwise

Took mine 5 working days to reflect back in my Maybank account. Guess it takes longer for overseas bank but it works
