QUOTE(Eurobeater @ Oct 23 2020, 01:49 PM) My experience so far on this platform. I used to study in the UK. So I have a digital bank account (Monzo) based in the UK with substantial GBP denominated savings. But I only managed to open a Trading212 account well after my resident pass expired. Hence, I can only choose to fund my account with two base currency, USD or EUR. I used EUR coz I wanted to focus on buying in the European markets. how come you don't open high street banks like Barclays, HSBC etc but Monzo??

QUOTE(JLJQ @ Oct 24 2020, 11:46 AM) Trading212 vs eToro for US stocks? Any sifu have any advice? Considerations around all fees, ease of getting money in & out, and also secureness/regulations (FCA vs ASIC if it makes any diff for us). interested to know this too. Additionally, is it a must to have UK bank account? Can we do wire transfer like TDA SG? This post has been edited by Ziet Inv: Oct 26 2020, 12:32 AM

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Nov 18 2020, 06:43 PM) why exit? How is trading212 experience if u dont mind to share? Trading212 has been great. The platform is robust and won't lag if there's a spike in market activities. I thoroughly enjoy my trading there. QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Nov 18 2020, 07:11 PM) How was the currency rate vs Google? RM 1 = 0.2430 seems to be super close to spot rate with no markup. 1 MYR / USD 0.2448 from yahoo finance Was researching and concerned on withdrawal process but this seems OK.

Was wondering if the refund function works if you make profit instead of just pulling out your deposits (with losses). Good to know that you can hold more than 10k on bigpay.

QUOTE(Icehart @ Dec 3 2020, 09:31 PM) Yes it's more than my deposit. Nice. Guess I'll keep using it because etoro's bank transfer site is dodgy as hell...still haven't renewed my passport yet so T212 is out of my reach for now.

QUOTE(Icehart @ Dec 3 2020, 09:31 PM) Yes it's more than my deposit. Does that mean that your funding method is bigpay? As I know, the withdrawal is sent to the funding source.
