I use those. Definitely a better sound than stock Filco keycaps. More thonk when typing.

Just swapped my Gateron Blues on my Keychron C1 to mostly Akko Matcha Greens with some of the other colors mixed in to test out the feel. Kailh Box Whites on the Esc/Spacebar keys. Dunno how I lived until now with just Cherry Browns



I'm thinking of getting this to replace the stock keycaps which suck some massive dick.

New Akko Midnight finally arrived from Chaiina.



Not sure which board to put this on yet. Was originally thinking of putting this on the Keychron but there's so many extra keycaps just sitting there doing nothing The packaging and the box it came in are so good. Surprised they went through all this for a relatively cheap keycap set but then again this isn't a 2 year GB Only took two weeks to arrive. You can pay around the same price for a "cloned" GMK set and they still ship it in some cheap plastic tray versus this 3 layered package with a nice hard pvc case with indents inside to lock the keycaps in so they don't flop around (other than the spacebars in that pic ) or get damaged. Would definitely buy again

Buying Akko switches from them directly is way cheaper. But the trade off is the 2 week waiting time. I'm thinking of getting some switches along with the cables next time. I really wanna try the Ocean Blue and Rose Reds.

Yeah AKKO keycaps on Amazon $59.99. They always like to ketuk whitey haha. ASA profile is slightly different from SA iirc. Sounds like a membrane problem. What kind of shitty mech did you get that has ghosting?

There's a fuckton of keycaps including with their sets and they're relatively cheap compared to pre-order and wait 2 years 3 letter brands My Akko Midnight set has 178 keycaps.

My Keychron C1 with Akko CS Matcha Green Switches along with some randoms others. Just slapped the Akko Midnight keycaps on it last night to spice up the look.




Haven't done the Foam Mod yet so I have to take them off again anyway but I was too impatient to wait to see if they'll work before releasing the payment to Akko tomorrow. F & J keys are slightly lower than the others. Checked the switches underneath and they're fine. Even mashed them in properly to get them to level out. Thinking of ordering Boba U4Ts next month to test them out Anyone have any experience using those?

They have the bumps but they're also lower than every other key in that row which is a little annoying. Whole row is smooth and then suddenly it drops in height when it comes to F and J. Other than that I'm happy with this keycap set. Just wish they had more unique novelties.

No other set has these that I'm aware of. Even the China clones have uniform height and so did the stock Filco caps. I'm not a big fan of the design choice but it's not a big deal. Just my OCD slapping me inside every now and then when I glance at the keyboard. The bumps were enough to differentiate the "guide" keys for touch-typing.

Just did the foam mod on my Keychron after sitting on my fat ass for awhile. Was easier than I thought to take this apart and put it back together. At least it still works Managed to improve the sound while typing. Now the only question is what keyboard to buy next?

Lol no thanks. Tired of group buys. KAT Space Dust is my absolute last preorder and wait and even that I might actually refund and put the money into a higher tier board instead. Some guy was flexing his mech to me the other day and I actually happened to google it and it was a first edition Mode Eighty and fully assembled it was $800. He then told me it was his cheapest board and he had more expensive ones. Some people really bangsawan. I'll probably considering getting either:

1. Akko Mod 003 (I'm starting to fall in love with the 1800 layout and this is gasket mounted too!)
2. Keychron Q1

Or absolute last choice due to the recent QC issues:

It hasn't been released yet so probably not. Both the Akko Mod 003 and 004 are still in the preorder phase. They release later this month. I'm like 70% favoring this over the others.

Honestly I kind of need the numpad so I'm leaning towards the Mod 003. It's a lot harder to run some numbers when I have to look at the keyboard to type them in.

Oh right, the change the PCB thing to fit the knob. I mean even if you stopped to think about it, from a technical standpoint it makes no sense that the current slot for a switch would be compatible with a knob. It's why people were waiting for the Knob version. The GMMK Pro looks good primarily because of it.
