then day to day ips should look better since 4k content not that rampant yet (still primarily 1080p content), but if you watch a lot of 4k content then the 4k monitor could look better in 4k video  but less so in others

Hahaha. So does that mean i buy that monitor and use 1440p also better? hahahahha... and maybe i'll stick 1440p IPS as my primary display. xD

Personally I prefer:
IPS > TN
Glossy > Matte

I have a 1440p matte IPS monitor but if I compare to it to my glossy 1080p IPS monitor, I'd go for the glossy one because it looks crisp even though the 1440p monitor has a higher resolution.

But then for the glossy monitor if sunlight will directly shine to your monitor from the window then don't really recommend it.

you just put it side by side and you'll know what to do laugh.gif I'd recommend you get some monitor arm for it instead so you can move it around which is good for watching movies

hmm.. the thing is, i think my acer predator xb271hu is not equipped to be mounted on the wall.. xD There's no info on it at their website.. haha.. And my box is up in the attic. hahaha. lazy go and get it. I may need the arm, because then it will be higher than my current speakers, because now my monitor and speakers are at the same level, hence wasted space there.. xD

You can try North Bayou F80, it is good, I'm using it on my other 23 inch monitor, the 27 inch cannot put monitor thanks to the ikea table design (but I can put more stuff so that is good in another way)

you can tilt it from horizontal to vertical, can move up down, front back, and can move around I think 270 degree.
