If we dont buy dream car or dream house and save the money, invest in more solid things, will it be bad for you?

Why must have dream car and dream house even though already have a good house and decent car? End up paying installment and mortgage forever, ikat perut.

I dont see the logic.

I know women also buy expensive things no logic sometimes, I dont agree with them also, at least I dont do it, I rather save the money for my daughter future.

If say buy expensive car and house can make my future better somehow, then maybe, but they dont right?

No offense but I think this is kinda shallow mindset, not criticize, just stating the logic.

If dont understand..just diam 7..

30-40 ; no dream car house, just continue feed family

40-60 ; send dotter to good uni and college

60-80 ; how is the investment in more "solid things" working for you? more health payments on the way.

80-100 ; health payments or death.

Some people enjoy nice car nice house, let them be la. It’s their money. You may have different perception on kids edu, for them they might have the perception let them be independent apply for ptptn so they know the value of money. Each to their own.

U see the big picture now? Of course there are those who refrain from spending or spend very little, but everyone cannot just stop spending.

If everyone just save their money in bank, then a recession would occur with businesses folding and unemployment sky rocket.

Case in point: This MCO.1-month lockdown, people cannot spend. See what already happened...

Also if nobody spend and solely just invest, then stocks will overvalue. Companies make no profit, then collapse, then you cannot invest.

If nobody spend, then property developer cannot develop houses, then no REITs and no property bubble, then you cannot invest.

What’s the point of living if you’re not going to enjoy yourself? If someone gets more utility out of owning their dream car then so be it for them you only have one life you will never have the chance to be young and driving your dream car again. I don’t really see the point in hoarding money so your children or grandchildren can blow it away when you’re dead.

Spend what you have on what you need, not what you dont have on what you want.

If you rich, sure, spend it, if not, why die die want spend?

This is what I learned to make life better, less stress, more money for emergency and future.

Don’t stress yourself about what people do with their money. Learn to make life better without unnecessary stress especially when it’s none of your business.
