Telco or building owners need to install additional receivers or something. That is one of the reasons you can get full bar of signal no matter you are inside the lift with the doors closed or in a tunnel in South Korea. That however is costly. But that’s part of the reasons you do not have to hang up your phone inside the lift in South Korea. This however, isn’t doable anywhere else, not even in Japan (about the lift).

I'm not sure whether Hotlink Postpaid can be MNP to other Telco's Prepaid after the first bill is issued. Maybe somebody can share some guidance. AFAIK, UMobile Postpaid and DiGi Postpaid allowing this scenario....

plan to port out yoodo to this HPU

Topup/reload RM1 = 1 day "active" validity.

Topup RM30 = 30 days validity.

Need to topup "strategically" in order to optimise "monthly" commitment...very tricky for novice Subscribers...

But HUP35 is quite str8 forward "validity" system.

Steps:
1) Just topup RM30 to get free RM5 credit. Validity is 30 days.
2) After received free RM5 credit, immediately Subscribe to the HUP35 (not HUP45 coz credit balance in wallet not enough).
3) Use for the next 30 days. In between 30 days, can topup RM5 or RM10 for SMS or buy hotspot quota. Validity still remained as before.
4) On 31st day, continue step 1 & 2 above.

However, if we do a lot of SMS in a day/week/month, stay away from HUP35/45. Stay with Yoodo.

For "hotspot" quota... must activate "hotspot/tethered" menu in Android settings...

If, hotspot not enabled, the 5GB quota will be used first for "high-speed" DL/UL until finished... then, after finish 5GB, return back to 3Mbps or 6 Mbps...

Conclusion:
Once activated, time will continue non-stop and balance of 5GB will be burned after 7 days...cannot keep-keep the 5GB quota...

The reward points have expiry date.

Opportunist should know what to do...
