If you guys look anywhere on Maxis website, there is mention of Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies. But there is no clear mention of the actual number. Even for Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre, it only says Maxis “MAY” manage your video streaming speed after you’ve exceeded 300GB of mobile data usage per billing cycle but there is no mention they will definitely throttle your data speed. But even amongst Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre subscribers, the feedbacks vary greatly. A few complained their data speed was throttled after they hit 300GB, people like me however did not experience throttled speed. wKkay also mentioned recently it was all good for him even after hitting 300GB.

Based on actual Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre subscribers feedbacks, it is likely that whether or not they are going to throttle your data speed is at their absolute discretion and is managed on case by case basis. However your location probably plays a role too, for the relevant Maxis team to decide whether or not they are going to throttle your mobile data speed.

Conclusion:
After 9th June, the FREE 1GB MCO quota is useless under Maxis and it's subsidiaries... Ban/Blacklist/Entity List remains as it is...

yes4G 3Mbps/4Mbps plan are perfectly ok. Coverage actually not too bad.
I can stream 1080p videos while I was using it too.

However, now maxis has KO it too. haha.

confirmed can. worst shitty plan ever for their 3Mbps unlimited plan.

Vormit blood on 1st day of use. Port out on 6th day. Forgo the rm30 paid with no turnback.

can only stream video at 360p only despite claimed 3Mbps speed.

Errr... I don't ban UMobile becoz they edy said Video-Onz is for vix streaming...so, very clear that YT and the rest cannot go beyond 480P...

yeah, im telling u (and others) some of the pros and cons. and up yup diff individual to see if it suit their needs.

for example, not suitable for those who hotspot a lot, and if FUP 5gb a day probably not suitable for those who stream 1080 whole day and so.

Just asking, if using dualsim phone with 2 sims inside, will it affect the data speed?
