For sport use like running, cycling, swimming? For your budget, can shop around for Amazfit Stratos 2. I am currently using one (English / International version) for more than 1.5 years. By the way, there is a latest Amazfit Stratos 3 on sales now. If you have higher budget, can consider Coros Pace. All these are cheaper alternatives as compared to Garmin/Suunto. There is another one GPS watch ie Amazfit GTR, with wither silicon or leather strap. This post has been edited by Pugbunny: May 28 2020, 12:12 AM

Or can go with garmin forerunner 35 around rm500-650

QUOTE(clement7621 @ May 28 2020, 01:58 PM) i guess i will be using it mainly for running , i need a reliable gps , does your stratos has good gps ? thanks So far, the Stratos GPS accuracy is comparable to other GPS watches. I do join running events on and off and I can vouch this from the Strava activity (Stratos activity can be synced to Strava). Besides that, I also do cycling and I own Bryton GPS cycling meter. Both distance is quite similar. The only complain sometimes I do face A-GPS software out of date message from the Stratos. This will happened when I didn't use the Stratos GPS for sometimes (during the MCO). However, this can be solved by syncing the watch to Stratos app. Just that sometimes I need to sync few times before it solve the problem. Else it can't detect the GPS satellite.

its over budget, but if you using iPhone could considering apple watch, its monitoring everything not just location and your status, and easy to track data by app.

When I started also like you, want best bang for the buck. But I can only share what I used: #1 Mi Band2 - Cant measure heart rate real time. Dont buy #2 Mi Amazfit Bip - Can measure HR real time(my only real requirement). Lodged 1000km+ now still going strong. Battery still ok (6-7d). Can see map/route. Many stats per run to see. Can store all run records in Mi App but not Stratos ya.
I bought two years ago, rm245. Check out credit cards offer, a friend of mine get this free just by sign up.

Garmin is a pretty good watch for running. GPS quite accurate. I use the forerunner 235, but it has a very sporty look. If got higher budget, can look at the classier watches - pricier but can also wear to work even
