OIC, some developer also offer the "rent to own" package, should be similar thing.
It also have other benefit if you want to stay and feel the environment of the property before you really buy, and can buy it with the fixed price as contract signed in 2020. But if property market crash, donno how the bank or developer hold all this "rent to own " unit, sure all tenant will not buy it with 2020 pricing.
