QUOTE(warez @ Sep 14 2007, 04:58 PM) QUOTE(Xybirium @ Sep 15 2007, 09:51 AM) I switched to Debian from Ubuntu and now I have problem running deluge. Installation was no problem just that when I select it, it seems to just hang and then closes. I've emailed slurdge.org, providing them with a screenshot of the stuck installation problem because they requested for it on their website.Any ideas anyone? PS - Linux newbie here... Within hours i got an email to test out another installer, and i am glad to say that it works. Go to 'http://www.slurdge.org/deluge-on-windows' to download the newer alpha version for those who had that stuck installer problem. |

Can anyone have a look at my screenies and check if my settings are alright?
I'm having 50+-KB/s download speeds, i think that is my maximum speed (according to past experiences) eventhough my line is capped at 1.5mb/s. Surfing is slightly slow (not as terrible as when i first used bitcomet), but sometimes it is unable to load pages. Would like someone to rectify whether my settings are alright. I didn't portforward (is this required for deluge?) and i enabled UPnP for my router. Thanks! ![]() This post has been edited by prancingHORSE: Sep 15 2007, 07:02 PM |

Guys, for deluge, what would be the recommended Global Maximum Connection?
Currently i'm having it set at the default 250, but i'm finding surfing is on the slower than normal side and on some occasions some sites tend to time out as well. I am using a D-Link 504T modem-router. Any recommendations or advice? Thanks! |

QUOTE(Dreamworks @ Sep 17 2007, 02:05 PM) Deluge homepage... Or to be exact, a link in there Traffic shaping software?www.deluge-torrent.org Works like a charm and doesn't affect my surfing speed like what some users are experiencing, but I'm using a traffic shaping software so I guess that's probably why Mind explaining how does it work, and precisely which software you use? I've been experiencing slightly slower surfing speeds than normal, i'm wondering if it has anything to do with my settings or is TMNet just slow these days. |
