QUOTE(warez @ Aug 17 2007, 02:15 AM) Yah, I don't like the surface. thank anyway QUOTE(praveenmarkandu @ Aug 17 2007, 02:25 AM) i use pidgin.its a client for multiple IM networks. have to find the debs for this since i dont think its in the repos for some reason.its the new gaim (since aol threatened to sue them for being close to aim). i like kopete alot when i used to use KDE. but it just looks weird on gnome. if you only use msn, aMSN mimics normal msn 7.5 the best. http://www.pidgin.imhttp://kopete.kde.orghttp://www.amsn-project.net/ Added on August 17, 2007, 2:32 amclosed minded and always willing to make a quick buck. some malaysians will never change. i tend to spend my time in another forum for this reason. this thread is weird as it is a mix between linux/OSS and torrents. im glad that people are trying this, even if the main purpose is to download torrents. it increases our exposure to opensource software. Erm I will give pidgin a try. thanks

QUOTE(prasys @ Oct 9 2007, 08:46 PM) Get rid of windows. It runs pretty good on OSX as well....It does well on Linux. I suggest if you do heavy torrenting , boot into linux and free yourself with deluge ! off topic, now osx86 can run on 2 core in dell lappy ? QUOTE(ZhaoYun @ Oct 23 2007, 01:50 AM) I fully agree. I tried the windows version of Deluge and the speed is no where near Ubuntu in my VMware. I actually meant that they can test their speed by download the ubuntu torrent, cause it is one of the best seed torrent. But I also agree with your statement. With the new 7.10 Gutsy release, ubuntu is more user friendly.
