got decent speeds without even using VPN! biggrin.gif

hopefully some of the private trackers won't ban this client!

hey praveenmarkandu

i tried to forward the ports used in deluge, when i click the "test active port"

it shows the TCP is closed, but UDP is opened.

Am i forwarding the ports correctly?

Two things to check here.
1. Make sure the port forwarding settings on your router (if your using one) is set to Both TCP and UDP instead of just UDP.
*
yup,i forwarded both

2. Set rules on iptables (linux firewall) to allow connections thru the port you choose.

how do i do that?

meanwhile,am i doing it rite with this?

Looks like the remedy is to leave the torrent on and wait for it to connect to the tracker.

i left it on for the whole night,it tried to connect over 60 times but never succeeded

Other trackers work fine for me

i tried setting up deluge on my another computer with a different brand of router

user posted image

why do i keep getting this?
It says my port is closed on the 60.51.XXXXX ip which is the external ip,i already configure the static ip,so why does it keep showing up that ip?

on my other comp,it shows both tcp and unp ports, but not this one

yeah i know how u feel, its like throttling never happen to us...  biggrin.gif
try enable upnp in ur client if ur router or modem support upnp.

Anyway, here my speed with ktorrent

it only take 1 minutes for me to get that speed...  rclxms.gif

i changed the port number and it managed to open it,strange....
too bad i don't have crazy speeds like yours, sad.gif
the max i could achieve is around 20-60kbs,and that took quite a while to get that speed.

for ktorrent,i keep getting the "stalled" status,i already port forwarded and downloaded the latest version, still the same

Everything worked fine, except when i try to share some of the folders located "outside",i believe i did the correct settings for it,but still cant detect it!

i'm sorry if its not related, but i getter quicker response here!

speeds pretty random now

at one point it could go as high as 80kbs,but then drop to 2kbs,then maintained at 15kbs

disable ur inbound.. it will help ur speed..

what exactly does that inbound encryption does?

if i disable it,wouldn't TM be able detect and identify it as torrent data?

Too bad my ktorrent wouldn't work as great as you mentioned

i keep getting the dreaded "stalled" status,at some point it managed to download a bit, then return to stalled again
