the fact that hes earning RM3.9k as a freshie and at this pandemic time, shows that he lucky to earn that much compared to other freshies

QUOTE
This is made worse when my boss keep expecting me to be grateful because according to my boss, Rm3.9k is a good salary for a fresh grade. I know personally that the boss him self is earning upwards of Rm15k+ and my immediate seniors are all earning Rm10k+

so what if the senior is getting RM15k and RM10k salary? those thing already shown him that with experience and hard work (combined if he working good company), you can earn as much as they earn

rant here rant there, just work your ass up and gain those experience, compare also no use, sakit hati only

you think you masuk workforce as freshie, you can earn that much without any experience? bodoh betul, such a strawberry freshie

NEXT!

as someone in bank, that is not true, unless you are ceo trainee or sales with very high net-worth clients

For Malaysian economy, it's high.
Don't compare SGD n AUD. They have better economy.
Unless the company is based in SG, earn money in SGD, but pay you MYR2.5k then that's lowball you a lot. Their cleaner in SG office simply earn higher than MYR2.5k

1) 3.9k salary for fresh grad is more than okay.

2) no fresh grad can earn 8k, not even in the OnG without alowance. Your friends are lying to you

RM3.9k is OK. It isn't as high as RM5k that I have seen, but it isn't as low as 1.5k either.

Keep in mind that I see people's payslips all the time, across many industries and levels of employment, including freshies. My clients DO NOT represent the normal distribution nor are they a random sample since they are the ones seeking for ASBF, mortgages, and insurances, but it gives a good mean, mod, max and min value, of sorts laugh.gif

The fresh grad is complaining cos some of the peers earn rm5k from management trainee programmes and so on. He or she spent a few hundred k or 1 mil studying in top tier university. Not your average local grads
