Hi all, I'm now in holiday and wish to flash the newer firmware for my phone. My phone is an AP set, using R1AA008 and it can't use the SEUS to update the firmware. Now I guess this is due to the CDA 102295/7 R2A (weird!).
So, please guide me how to flash the firnware. I believe my phone is using CID49.
Also, currently what firmware is the best? I heard people said the newest firmware, R1DB001 is not good for headphone music listening, is that true?
Thank you.

Today try to flash my phone with the XS++, the FS and main I used is R1CA021. Everything seems ok until customization part, but my phone will automatic turn on during the "waiting for the phone disconnect" process! I have tried a few time but it's also the same.
Now the phone will shows contact service provider after I key-in pin lock. But the firmware is updated, only left the customize CDA is same. Help.

QUOTE(Asus @ Aug 22 2007, 06:32 PM) Under the XS++, I select customization, then tick the BruteXS, k750 and the APAC_1 CDA102337/101. Now after I update the USB flash driver, it improve a bit, but also the phone still will auto restart during the "Waiting for the phone to reconnect" process and hanging there. Help.

QUOTE(Asus @ Aug 22 2007, 06:54 PM) try not to use customization...and have u slide the fs/main using Gslide? Yes, I have done it. This time I use the BreakXS, then customization was successful, BUT my phone won't on. I read the XS++ log, it say that my phone need to reflash the main, then I go reflash the main. After that. Yeah, my phone is on R1DB001!

Dunno if I've mentioned this before, but after every BruteXS... The Main needs to be reflashed or your phone won't boot. Actually, customization can be fairly easy, sometimes I may prefer that because I won't need to worry about having the custom files in the memory card/phone memory @voscar Since you wanted good sound quality, R1CA021 is among the best for all official "unmodded" firmware. If you prefer to try out drivers made by others, which I would say they're way better then Sony's sound quality... Then get a R1BC002 firmware and patch it with a "move drivers" VKP. I know I've mentioned the patching for a lot of times already, so go and read read a bit la

Sometimes it may be due to the shops, they cheat... My friend bought a Zitron set Nokia and the battery turned out to be fake That's why it's always best to check your new phone on the spot and do some homework before buying so you won't get cheated. Added on August 23, 2007, 11:29 pmBy the way, my K750i is AP set but it's no different than a Midland set, warranty aside This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Aug 23 2007, 11:29 PM
