After a month using the ap housing, I can't stay with the lousy keypad anymore. Just now I suddenly brave enough to take out the ap housing and reinstall back the original housing. During the process, I faced difficulty ti install the front cover. Luckily everything is ok now.

Delay---I think this is a common problem for camera phone, and maybe the digital camera will also suffer this problem, but it's better than our k750i.

I guess this problem can be reduced by using the BestPic feature, which is available on k800i and k810i.

suggestion----using the smaller picture size might reduces the delay time.

Mine is R1AA008, this fw is not good, always hang when i play java game. Tried SEUS to update but failed because mine is ap phone.

Having exam nxt week, maybe will try it when my hand gatal during holiday.

Oh btw, anyone have tried to use the smaller resolution theme (128x160) on the k750i? I have once tried the k800i theme on my phone, and it does not show full screen. I wonder if using smaller resolution, how will the phone looks like?

Hi all, I'm now in holiday and wish to flash the newer firmware for my phone. My phone is an AP set, using R1AA008 and it can't use the SEUS to update the firmware. Now I guess this is due to the CDA 102295/7 R2A (weird!).

So, please guide me how to flash the firnware. I believe my phone is using CID49.

Also, currently what firmware is the best? I heard people said the newest firmware, R1DB001 is not good for headphone music listening, is that true?

Today try to flash my phone with the XS++, the FS and main I used is R1CA021. Everything seems ok until customization part, but my phone will automatic turn on during the "waiting for the phone disconnect" process! I have tried a few time but it's also the same.

Now the phone will shows contact service provider after I key-in pin lock. But the firmware is updated, only left the customize CDA is same. Help.

Under the XS++, I select customization, then tick the BruteXS, k750 and the APAC_1 CDA102337/101.

Now after I update the USB flash driver, it improve a bit, but also the phone still will auto restart during the "Waiting for the phone to reconnect" process and hanging there.

Yes, I have done it.
This time I use the BreakXS, then customization was successful, BUT my phone won't on.
I read the XS++ log, it say that my phone need to reflash the main, then I go reflash the main.
After that. Yeah, my phone is on R1DB001!

Just an update after few days of using R1DB001 firmware.

Yesterday night I tried play game and listen music together, the phone hangs and restarted twice, same problem as my previous firmware----R1AA008.

The media player has improved! Last time there's "pok" noise when changing next song, now this firmware don't have this problem.

The bass effect of Mega Bass is softer, but I like it. Last time the Mega Bass, I feel the bass effect is too hard and noisy (don't know how to describe).

The screen is more brighter. When I use the R1AA008, my screen brightness set to 90%, now with this new firmware, I set it to 70% only.

Overall, I think R1DB001 is quite ok. But I feel little disappointment because there's still chances the phone will hang when playing game.

Just search a few forum, I can't find any W800i APAC version Main and FS. I only found W800c.

Can I use w800c firmware? Is it locked to china telco only?

Just done flashing, now I was on W800 R1BC002 APAC.

I downloaded the W800 FS and Main, then convert it into CID49 using GSlide. After that I use XS++ to flash the Main and FS into my phone, and then do customization. After customization, due to some problem, I reflash the Main again. Now the phone is ok.

But I don't know why, everytime after flashing the Main or FS, the XS++ will hangs on "Finishing Flash" there, I need to click the stop button, luckily nothing bad happen. Few days ago when I flashing the unmodified Main and FS, it won't like that. I guess maybe because the converted CID49 W800 firmware not very stable?

One of my friend is different, he fed up with w800 and switch back to his 3230 symbian phone.
He said w800 very difficult to use, not as user friendly as symbian phone~~~

What I mean is, this time I had problem on the customization process, it hangs and not responded during flashing 2 flashblocks, not as smooth as flashing k750i alone, luckily after flashing Main the phone will works. Btw, is it possible to mod the phone so that it can use flash theme?

If you want to change the front casing, keypad and the back casing only, it's consider easy because no need dismantle the main board, LCD and camera.

But if you want to change the whole housing including the middle part, you need to dismantle all the parts of the phone. If not doing properly, you may damaged the phone, just like what my friend did.

The SE dealer will charge you around RM45 for the labourship, you can see few post earlier from iChih.
