dude, hv u switch to Macro options? (Settings --> Focus) make sure the distance more than 15 cm, + the most important is, no shaking hand/finger

yes, i switched to macro edi and this is the 3rd picture taken. sure not shaking cuz i asked my uncle who is a pro photographer to snap for me. Sorry ah >_<

And strange, isnt that the focus got auto one? That is it not enough meh?

no. short distance u always need turn on macro mode, half press the cam button let it 'auto-focus', u will hear a "beep-beep" & there is green dot appear, mean the cam has focus the close up object. then only press cam button again snap the pic.

hey guys, i just got a new w610i few days ago(not even a week!) i've been using it these few days and i notice that occasionally the '4' and '6' keys of my phone gets 'hang' (i press the button but nothing comes out on the screen) when im typing messages, especially when i type fast. sometimes even when i exit to standby mode and try to press the buttons, nothing will come out also. but after awhile it gets back to normal. it's not always like that, but it does happen few times a day when i use it and it really annoys the hell out of me. is it normal or some kind of defect? should i go to SE's service centre to get it checked out? will they repair it on the spot if there's any defect? need advice. thanks.

rename it to .vkp will do, for safety, patch each single vkp u need restart to check whether compatible issue. (if any error, u still can un-patch it)

By default SE phones sms tone (own customized type) maximum only able ring up to 10 seconds, this vkp will break the barrier

One more....what is "Change Manage Call White list to black list". How do it function?

most probably its the firmware cause the hang. google Sony Ericsson Update Service program on ur pc upgrade to the latest firmware will help up

By default, most SE phone come with a feature 'block call', but the default is White list, mean those contact u put inside the list only can reach u, other wise, call will be dropped.
this vkp patch is turn the white list to black list...get wat it mean?

err..just follow the instructions on their website is it? i remember when i first got my phone, when i switched it on, the requested to download updates..but i cancelled it though. will installing these updates on my hp void my warranty? thanks.

edit: just only run 'update service' provided in phone settings. came out a message saying 'your phone has the latest software'

For the updates, i think it wouldnt void your warranty since Sony Ericsson encourage ppl to update their phone....Usually the phone u bought already update to the latest....

u need patch the heap shift (to increase the 1MB buffer for app) b4 w610_miss_call_unread_sms_alert

remember, patch it one by one(restart phone after every single patch)

its all depend your need.

for me, i personally felt the original brightness lowest 50% still too bright, after patch it i use 20-30% just nice.
