Hi /k, as mentioned on the title. Can an employer delayed EPF payout to staff for more than 2 months? My ex-company has not paying my epf since March. The last contribution was Feb.
*Update 20 May: Finally received all the EPF contribution for almost 3 months. Glad that they paid.

Start from march, maybe MCO issue.
EPF monitor company contributions. Normally if late few months will get denda notice. I not sure but if they delay longer, will get incoming legal letter. At least, visit from EPF staff. This happen in company i worked before.
Tips i can share maybe, if under normal condition, company delay contribution for 2 months, employees please make report. All employees better. Use mobile EPF apps easier. Why make report? Because u never know if company status change to "gulung tikar" next day. If gulung, good luck getting your money through jabatan insolvensi. My colleagues got kenna this issue, company didn't pay epf for 1 year.

Chances are if they never pay EPF, they will also not pay PCB. Who suffers - you! I had the misfortune many years ago of being similarly impacted - it took 10 long years of chasing EPF to get the money back. EPF will chase the company but will only credit into your account if they get the money. Meanwhile, LHDN was another headache... Lodge a report and leave. No point as the heartache may be endless.

QUOTE(Oreoyh90 @ May 18 2020, 10:48 PM) under MCO, epf can be delayed. You check with EPF directly. I also remember if company delay the epf payment, they need pay epf amount + interest. You need check. Dont so bad push your boss to corner. Wait u kena retrench u gg.. haha they are not my boss anymore, i don't see the point why I don't want to be pushy. Somehow they only paid my April (employee portion), employer contribution is 0.00 WTF, first time happened in my 9 years of working. this company very suey
