Just come across Android Authority own benchmark tools Speed Test G that won't release to public to prevent manufacturer cheating on benchmark.
Channel url: https://www.youtube.com/c/SpeedTestG

Lower is faster as the value is total time spend to completed the test.

Frank speak I am so happy to see the POCO F2 Pro is indeed run much faster than Xiaomi Mi 10. Haha!

thanks for this. I've been using another saturn apk which didn't include the AOD part. Now with this for everything can select from super wallpaper setting
now poco thread become slow due to how moving to mi10.. and yet I'm very satisfy with overall performance of poco.. even for some part poco can't beat my se but still I can't believe I stick to poco than se.
I'm only got 12.0.2 so far

Welcome. smile.gif

Ya most moving to Mi 10, but I am not regretting getting the POCO F2 Pro, as the macro lens is freaking awesome, without punch hole and good to know the performance also better than Mi 10. Haha!

My next target phone maybe iPhone 12 Pro MAX if it really is 1B color (10bit) but I do hope the notch can be reduce also. Reason of thinking to use iPhone as long never use, sudden feel like want to switch.

10bit v/s 8bit is huge differences of colors. It is 1,073,741,824 colors v/s 16,777,216 colors.
This 10bit will be native colors support for HDR video playback.

Another option I may consider Sony Xperia 1 II or OnePlus 8 Pro if they are coming to Malaysia and bundle with Maxis Telco set where my current package is completed end of September, 2020 as beside coming iPhone, currently seems only Sony Xperia 1 II and OnePlus 8 Pro using 10bit display.

Yours also EEA set, which latest is 12.0.2, Global set is different update and came with 12.0.3
They is one user Mi Community forum said the Widevine is dropping to L3 for Global set, not sure others Global set impact or not.

initially I kinda feel regret but after awhile almost everything I hate about Oneplus 7/7T Pro solve with this poco.. curved screen was never my forte, but I want full screen flat amoled without notch.. and 90hz/120hz wasn't my need too as I'm not heavy gamers, 60hz is enough for daily usage.. and the macro camera turn taking photo interesting again.. list can go on.. even my se is collecting dust now.. haha..
*
I always fancy on curve screen but not sure why I more see more feel actually flat screen also nice looking. Haha!

Curve screen is never my requirement anymore.

As for that higher refresh rate, it is good to have but not a must. You do see the differences but in minimal impact only.

haha.. ppl changes.. as long as we happy with our device then it's the best for us.. before I also fancy curved screen to look cool.. but end up be very annoying when typing, gaming and even watching video.. hope poco keep improving their features and performance in future
*
Haha! Agreed! I feel curve only cosmetic enhance, they is no benefits at all especially watching movie.

Ya hope POCO keep improving in future, at least now it is doing great, this POCO had no bugs or issue like it 1st POCO phone.

Any way to stay awake keep screen on?
30 minutes max?
*
10 mins is maximum and this is kind of standard across all mobile phone.

No phone will allow your screen on forever, unless you are watching movie on it.

Some more this is AMOLED, if always awake, soon your screen will face burn-in issue.

Really? Didn't know such thing. Ayam still using LCD, old iPhone can turn on forever, current android can max 30mins.
*
Burn-in is OLED characteristic. tongue.gif

Any OLED will have this issue, that why you see the always on lockscreen clock is jumping here and there from time to time.

Also people don't recommended using OLED TV if your main source is Astro or normal Live TV channel because after long run the TV logo had possibility burn-in.

To prevent such issue, counter measure need to make, for example as mentioned above lockscreen clock jumping here and there.
As for TV, LG do implement luminance the TV logo and also auto Pixel Refresher, as well auto screen shift from time to time.

Not sure this also apply to POCO F2 Pro or not, after check mine is 38.

From this video, 38 is Samsung panel and 42 is Huaxin panel.

yeah, saw this and tested, also 38.

I guess this the reason why Poco only support 60Hz.
*
But Mi also got 38 and support 90hz. Haha!

Poco everything good except screen is not 90hz.

The 64MP sensor is a Sony sensor if I’ve not mistaken.

The hardware potential is there, what is needed is GCAM to unlock the true potential.
*
Gcam still buggy, so need to wait.

Hmmm, actually quite similar to my 128GB unit. I guess it’s either UFS3.0&3.1 really not much differences or Xiaomi actually used UFS3.1 chip for 128GB too.
*
128GB is also using UFS3.1, the only differences is the RAM DDR4 vs DDR5.

On a side note, just realise there’s some green tint issue with my unit when displaying low brightness grey background.

They’re located at the top and bottom. It kind of surprised me as I didn’t practically notice this issue before under normal circumstances and lighting conditions.

Here’s a comparison with my MiA3 for reference. Both are showing google chrome blank page in dark mode.[attachmentid=10567838]

QUOTE(HazzyNight @ Aug 30 2020, 02:24 PM)
Hmm...so there's tint issue on F2 Pro as well. Maybe people doesn't realized cause there's no report on it. Should be SD or Amoled related just like Note 20 and some Oneplus's phone.
*
This probably rare case. I immediate check and lucky mine is ok.

I face before last time on Samsung Galaxy Tab S, since that time I always check for green tint issue if the display is AMOLED.

Basically any middle high and above phone with 6 GB is far than enough.

Additional RAM to it is not very big differences you can notice anymore.

My unit bought on August also stated LPDDR5 with CPUZ before.

But I not too sure if those APPs actually detecting the real specs or simply list through based on their database.
*
Can you screenshot which part showing it is LPDDR5 at CPUZ as I check the entire apps information and can't find it at all.

I want to know my mobile is which version. Thanks.
