Not much different android 11, notification abit different, unused gesture bar. Feel slower abit but like more stable. Cool apps dark mode customization options for some apps if u like ”dracula” dark mode. But some apps like google map cant be toggled.

Android 11 update not much difference really under miui, u'll notice some usual functions disappeared instead of any special new features. Wait for miui 12.5 updates more makesense.

After update:
The good:
- quite stable, no app freeze/hang and no more auto reboot(haven't occur yet after update)
- Google playstore no need update apps so often as before

The bad:
- Some usual features missing, notifications sometime display a bit weird/ origin apps icon not display as before at the top notification bar.

- The display auto brightness sometimes remain low contrast hard to read in the car when daytime.

Other no noticable difference, using fine as usual. Remarkable battery life is the most i like about this phone

It's matter of time for xiaomi to become U.S sting in the eye. Xiaomi made the miui like copycat to ios. Made huami watch 70% cheaper but 7x more battery life than apple watch. Play gimmick m11 package without charger but gift free later. U.S will soon ban xiaomi like huawei when apple market started being threaten by other brand in europe.

May using the mediatek dimensity 1200. Sd888 made by samsung purposely being lousier than the exynos 2100. Sd870 by tsmc coming though as sd865++.

Get official 12.5.1 today size 962mb only. Updated within 15mins.
The good:
- open apps, scroll, type wirds super snappy smooth.
- Got back the precious google maps working correctly in small floating windows like before in android 10.

The bad:
- my favorite theme notification icons gone back to default. Look likes not compatible with latest miui version yet.

Dun have. So far very good to use, apps very snappy. But battery consumes a bit faster than the previous version. Not notice any visible diff except the fingerprint sensor opener wave.

Overall experience with 12.5.1 is good, snappy and smooth. Fixed the annoying homescreen refresh/reload after unlock problem with the previous version. Battery consumes faster but no problem to hold whole day even with heavy use.

According source eligible to get miui 13 and android 12 too. Wow xiaomi phone quite worth of it's price. Waiting mipad5 pro now to be available in shopee with the price around 2k.

Received 12.5.2 update 3.1gb security patch 01 aug 21. After update 4g+ signal more stable, display auto brightness works better but battery drained problem doesn't improves from 12.5.1. Slightly heating too for rapid use.
