Browsing and Internet things other than WhatsApp got issue? In my experience I can still get message coming in thru WhatsApp, eventhough I already force stopped it. Its due to the gcm service that keeps waking up WhatsApp.

Uninstall WhatsApp, wipe phone cache, restart, let the phone settle down 5 minutes after unlocking the lock screen and then install it again doesn't solve the problem?

OK. That's some seriously odd issue 😅. Seems like WiFi also got problem if that's the case. Going to try factory reset soon?

Does it affect fingerprint sensor scanning reliability?

MIUI 12 stable is out for China K30 Pro ROM. I reckon it won't be long now for poco I hope.

Things changed with miui 12 lately. Going back from miui 12 latest beta to stable requires data format, else will stuck at boot screen. Can say goodbye to internal backup.

Since the newer version of miui 12 eu are mostly based on weekly beta, I guess for us f2 users gotta wait a while before we can get that jump back and forth worry free environment like miui 11.

Redmi k30 pro are getting consistent stable update. We even got miui 12 now. Tough luck poco 😅. Perhaps they are waiting qualcomm baseline to be fully updated then they will release the firmware update for poco

If I had your experience like with the Note 7, I would have done the same too. But Huawei... Their software update is lacking too?

I see. I guess android still has a long way to go to beat iPhone in terms of power management and efficiency. I always think iPhone is marginal better, but different people give different answers. But yours is the most convincing since our SOT for f2p/k30p are quite similar. Thanks for the input 😄
