 Mass C to Mass A, Promised undelivered

Hei Maxis,


I subscribe to Postpaid 188 15 month ago with the customer agent at Sunway pyramid confirming that I can take A device every three month before i took the line for my family after a year

Total of 4 lines under me.....


After A year and 2 month my wife phone just died and I decide why not take a new phone for her.....went to sunway pyrtamid maxis center and to my shock they told me that i am not eligible to take another device


my first device is taken at june 2019......my account is already past one year to date.....



What is the problem? According to the customer service my account is still in Mass C and not Mass A after a year........


Applied to review but denied.....So is the promise that i can take One device every 3 month is just a LIE to get customer to sign up?

I am also being classified as MASS_C despite the current contract already more than 12 months and my payment were
always on-time , but yet i got MASS_C stamped in my account! I called MAXIS call center to see if they can switch to MASS_A, the guy said he can't change the status as it's auto calculated by system, then he advised me to check with maxis center in Sunway to try appeal with them. very annoying...

Mass C is for customer less than 1 year.it also limit you for,one device only even after one year and no late payment. In short they do not trust you.


Mass A means you can take 1 device for all ur subline every 3 month. In short they trust you and your money.

When asked they will give reason like computer will select
Auto and review is done 2 times per year which is nonsense.

what de hell .. got this kind of class ? i been with maxis more than 10 year ..
never heard of got free device every 3month lol ..

Under one account if you have sub account under it...can take 01 phone every 03 month.....IF u are under mass A....if u are under mass C then good luck........

Mine was 158 with 3 shareline, do this entitle for free phone if i am under mass A?

They did not tell me whether I am Mass A or Mass C but they said my account have a good payment record.

I did ask them specifically whether I am in Mass A or Mass C.

Maybe the agent that replied to you is not well trained. Reply them, ask, am I in Mass C or Mass A?
