better cancel while you still can, and ask them to refund the downpayment if any since there is no drawdown yet from bank

If you cancel now, you won’t get any compensation from Tago. What I know is if the government to take over the land, will have a huge amount of money to compensate to developer. So just wait for the confirmation.

Developer will be unhappy if you ask so many questions. If you try to ask for refund, developer will threaten you that they could always self bankrupt their company and start another company afresh

Feel sorry for the buyers of the project. Sad because ppl want their home. But developer fail to deliver promise. Buyers should seek compensation.
