You can see reviews here
https://homekitnews.com/2019/12/04/aqara-op...-switch-review/

I’m not sure where to find them in Malaysia. Probably AliExpress ?

6 button is around 20 sgd, and each button has 3 triggers. So effectively you have a 18 button switch, but if you use Siri Shortcuts. You can get even more than 18 triggers

You can find the aqara opple wireless switch in Lazada

A lot of good real life exp and info here, thanks TS.

Just wondering if Terncy can integrate with Home Assistant? If not I think i will have to go for Sonoff route. Ultimately I want a smart home to decide and everything for me, no more touching of switch, be it on the wall or on the phone. (ideally)

As long as it is homekit certified, it will be able to integrate to Home Assistant, My HA now managed Aqara homekit devices and yeelight homekit bulb

I think it's possible to have 1 neutral and loop to 2 switches, some of my neutral lines are looped from the nearby switch sockets too
*
if the neutral line won't get your RCCB tripped, then you can loop it.

Hi everyone, I've read through the whole topic but still a little confused on a few things.

1. Is it all Zigbee protocol switches and appliances can connect to any Zigbee hub? Like if I buy other appliances also can connect to Terncy hub?

2. The extra switch that has "no gang" means cannot directly connect to a light/fan in your home, but can be used to control any other connected devices like one of those "cube" remotes or wireless remotes right?

3. I plan to use homebridge anyway because there will definitely still be things (e.g. xiaomi) that will probably never be homekit compatible, should I still try to find as many homekit accessories as possible then the rest use homebridge, or should I just go for the budget-friendly option for everything?

Thanks sifus for your time!

1. No
2. what brand of product are you talking about?
3. if you are tech savvy, you can use homebridge to make all of your smart devices as homekit. if you are just a normal user, and wanted to use apple homekit to manage smart home, then get Aqara or Xiaomi.

hi all the sifus out there, can apple homekit and xiaomi home work together
for eg.
aqara smart switch > aqara hub > apple homekit and aqara app be linked together.
as not everyone at home is using apple product thanks

Aqara hub is dual mode hub, it can be managed by homekit and aqara app, but only aqara app able to add/delete zigbee devices

For non apple user, they can use aqara app to control everything

For apple user, they can either use homekit or aqara app
