So jelly.. My cpy work 8 yrs only can become senior engineer. After 15 yrs typically lead eng. 15-20 manyzer.. Director vp all typically 50 60 yrs old kind. Speed also depends on skin color, whites make the fastest, locals stuck at mid management level as cannon fodder. Sometimes ppl also aspire the titles

For those who are curious, i can share some insights as i have been working in banks all my life.
Changed 4 banks, from middle office, to back office and front office.
JP VP level is actually pretty senior. The ranking is analyst to associate (manager) to VP, then ED and MD. CEO of JP MY is MD.
VP in regional banks varies. From VP3 most junior to SEVP. But they are not junior with 3-5 year exp like all the kopitiam unker says. VP3 to VP1 can be dept head, and manage a team. VP1 and SVP manages a few dept. EVP is C-level already in Malaysia.
Local banks are similar to regional banks. Btw VP and director are some time used interchangebly (AVP are associate directors and VP are directors). Otherwise directors are above VP (instead of SVP)
Salary-wise, VP in MNC banks should be earning 18k+ at the floor, close to 30k at ceiling. And they usually manage a team or project. ED is very senior already. 30k+ i believe?
Regional and local banks, VP starts from 16k. Bigger banks have monthly car allowances for VP and above.
Btw, Relationship manager is a title, not a ranking, they can be from executive all the way to VP level.
