leather you have to put leather conditioner to maintain it so that it will last longer...

Funny thing is a lot of people with this problem post their chair picture on secretlab facebook. They deleted it immediately. Looks like they don't want the world to see the quality of their shit chair.

I dont think any leather will crack after less than 2 years.. it is just pure low quality of item with hefty price tag.

I am using Omega one, still holding up well after 2 years. Very satisfied so far.

I leave mine there. And i see alot of “supporter” posting the good of the chair, i think its paid “supporter”. This company is a scam in my opinion, should have spent the 500sgd elsewhere to get a better quality chair.

What do u do to preserve the fragile paper like so call leather?

Not sure man. I sit like normal only but sometimes I sit on it shirtless. Maybe my sweat is the natural conditioner?

Another reason could be that I usually only sit like 4-5 hours a day instead of long time daily because weekdays have to go work and after work usually also lepak outside.

friends also ask me look into this brand. was lookin at the ikea markus chair (PU) seat. concern is non ac room. anyway i feel PU or fabric, hot weather also sweat like mad. but curious why the PU start to peel off after 2 years.

same here. not planning to pay more than rm500 for it. i'm just deciding if fabric/PU seat is better.

To be frank the chair is ok in terms of comfort for long hours.But quality of leather is just sub par. I tried ikea markus chair, I find it very comfortable as well as the lumbar support is good. But never sit it for long hours. If u ask me, NO, DO NOT GET THE SECRETLAB CHAIR. 500sgd doesn't justify the quality u get. IKEA markus chair is only less than half the price.

Please do not try pu leather lol. Go for fabric if u need.

bring the chair to a car upholstery shop... ask them to change the pu leather to recaro fabric... will probably be more durable, better beathability and maybe even more comfortable.

thanks for sharing. will order fabric. earlier thought the other materials like handrest frame was different material, then read carefully its the same price different because of PU vs Fabric.

yea i am also looking for this brand but the flanking issue seems common.. it may last longer if it being placed in a 24x7 ac room. Fabric which is more exp seems to be a better choice.Not sure if there's any noble chair user here can comment about. Noblechair often being taken as the competitor for secret lab
