To be fair, a little healthy suspicion is par for the course, whenever a "salary", "income", "rezeki", "IELTS" thread is posted - after all, natural skepticism is needed to guard against scammers like, erm ? lamtin and the other one with that fragrant, perfumy name.

However, there's no need to butthurt when a thread is posted about one's salary that doesn't have any direct or even indirect harm inflicted upon the reader at large - so what if raynmann has RM22k/month or so what if he doesn't? It's not like the air you breathe would somehow be different, or the life you lead would irrevocably be altered by his salary.

I don't get this butthurt culture, sometimes... but, I'm slowly learning to get used to it on /k.

IELTS standard has lowered significantly compared to 15-20 years ago. I remember one forumer here told that us here that he scored band 8.0 in IELTS but most of the time I read his reply here in LYN, the way he constructed his sentences was like band 6.0 student. I guess band 8.0 is the new band 6.0.
