QUOTE(karhoe @ Aug 29 2007, 02:48 PM)
Haha, damn funny lar

Btw, that David Coulthard always 'zhat hai' lar, sapu kasut, keep on saying Mclaren is da best, he just can't accept the fact that doing so will not make  Coulthard back to Mclaren.
*
He's a sore loser like Ron Dennis.
Remember Dennis's comments on Ferrari after Silverstone?
As well as his recent comments after Turkey?
A lof of Planet-F1 fans calls him a sore loser.
It not McLaren....it's Ron Dennis.
Accept defeat like a man and not a boy will ya doh.gif

Here:

McLaren seem to be sore losers....

Like in Turkey, McLaren might do good in quali and might even get pole in Monza.
Ferrari might be strong again in the race.
If Kimi's pole with McLaren last year as a reference.
I still remember...0.001 seconds to beat Schumacher for pole tongue.gif
Then Schumacher passed him after 1st pit stop and took it home.
We'll see.

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Aug 29 2007, 08:08 PM)

Lewis and Alonso will never get along. Never will.
All this incident and each of them pointing at each other (indirectly,
They are already seen as enemies in each other eyes....
Poor Ron, guess he will go thoroughly bald end of the season.
*
With that finger he gave to Alonso...clear sign tongue.gif
Better lah if Alonso leave the team.
'makan hati' only tongue.gif
With all his negative comments that did not help himself as well as the team at all...made it difficult to focus on every weekend.

Remember JPM?
He mentioned NASCAR...then he got the boot laugh.gif
Alonso did more than that.
Maybe since he's a double world title...then McLaren just being patience.

Moral of the story...don't be a pain in the arse.
Then people will love you...like Kimi thumbup.gif
Be as cool as ice ok...but not an arse with an attitude doh.gif

Alonso felt it and outspoken about it.
Lewis as usual defended the team.

Alonso is slower.
He seems has no answer for Lewis's pace.
Hungary and Turkey at least.
If not for Lewis's 'tayar meletup' Alonso would be down by a country mile smile.gif

Ecclestone keen to see Schumacher return

Source

I think Bernie is always thinking of ways to "fill the newspapers".
I am alright with night races, the Valencia track, and now Schumi returns...
However, if he include the controversy caused by the Stepneygate incident to be a newspaper filler, then i think he is definitely wrong!
The controversy has caused a lot of skepticism around the integrity of not just the teams staff but also the F1 race itself.
*
laugh.gif
He did say something about the appeal on Stepneygate.
He said, 'without any new evidence, the decision would stick'.

QUOTE(sqwerk2 @ Aug 31 2007, 02:49 PM)
although hamilton and alonso's feud and the espionage case does bring us entertainment this season of F1, they have been grabbing the limelight practically on all the news. seriously, i'm kinda sick of the attention they were given by commentators (probably Star Sports) almost every race. they said it as if Ferrari and the Mclarens are the only teams racing.

Added on August 31, 2007, 2:51 pmout of boredom in the office, i kinda calculated, the last 5 races, if so happen  tongue.gif  Mclaren and Ferrari crashed out and BMW taking 1&2 spot all the way, they can actually win the WCC after all.

During Q2...we missed Kimi's and Alonso's laps doh.gif wtf.
I was cursing like hell.

Race day would be worse...the commercials doh.gif

It's not like RTM f***ed up not enough...now they wish to join in.

QUOTE(kapitan @ Sep 9 2007, 12:31 AM)
Dont be so foolish la.
If McLaren is faster when using Ferrari data, this definately stamp a mark on Ferrari own butt. You wanna say Ferrari have the data but dunno how to use it? I think it has something to do with Ferrari longer wheel base design. This track is a bit similar to the one in Montreal, Canada. Somehow Ferrari car doesnt work well with these track. Ferrari cars seems to work well with tracks that have fast sweeping corners like Silverstone or Magny Cours or even Turkey.

'I can't stand it when Lewis is made out to be a godlike character. We all have our failings'

QUOTE
"When I was at McLaren they blatantly favoured Hakkinen. There was a devastating occasion when I was on pole until Hakkinen beat me at the death. The jubilation in Ron and the others was distressing. It was like Hakkinen had just beaten their arch rival rather than their own driver. When I tried to talk about it I sounded like a little kid, complaining 'It's not fair' as if someone else had been given a bigger piece of chocolate. But you can't hide that hurt from yourself. Maybe I'm too sensitive."
