Sony already announced that they will discontinue their PC segment. But i will still recommend other manufacture over Sony because they tend to be pricier for the same specs. For your usage i recommend i3 4th generation + Nvidia G820M. Other forummers might suggest something different but with your budget that is the best spec that you can get unless you're going for used notebook.1. Preferred Brand: Asuz or Vaio
