These are still available for purchase with no wait list as of today.

Vacheron Constantin FiftySix for cheaper than your Rolex Submariner

[attachmentid=10911070]

[attachmentid=10911071]

Patek Philippe Calatrava 6119 in 18k Gold for the same price as a Rolex Daytona in Steel.

[attachmentid=10911072]

[attachmentid=10911073]

Audemars Piguet Code 11:59 Chronograph in 18k Gold and ceramic for around the same price as a steel Aquanaut in rubber strap.

[attachmentid=10911074]

[attachmentid=10911075]

Lots of watches to be had if you look beyond the popular models.

Brilliant recommendation.

But they are not Rolex, in Malaysia market , particularly first timer with tons of cash ...they only see Rolex , it’s all about value retention..

Like I said, very rare Watch lover anymore, all buy and hoping to sell to make bucks

Sad but true ...

If Rolex..

Currently one of the best bargain Rolexes around and in 36mm. Price range between 20k to low 30k.

Rolex 16200 Datejust

[attachmentid=10911086]

Or you can opt for Rolex Two Tone or BiColor models of popular sports models. These are usually cheaper than the all steel versions.

Sorry but in my opinion, Cellini not haute horologi enough to be compared with holy trinity dress watches. The finishing on these trinity dress watches is unbelievable. I have handled the Audemars Code 11:59 and Patek 5196 Calatrava and both are way way above Cellini in terms of fit and finish.

Historically, the trinity are more famous for their dress watches than their sports watches, while Rolex is famous for their no nonsense Tool watches.

The 11.59 looks like a expensive version of DW though.

Hopefully they fix the dial because the movement is superb.

Have you seen one in person? The double convex glass is difficult to take pictures of. But if you have seen one in person you will realize that it is not a DW clone.

The double convex sapphire glass is a defining feature even from a feet away. You will know that it’s a Code 11:59 straight away.

Just my opinion though.

Yep, handled it as well. Everything is really great except the dial design.

It was widely derided when it first appear which was a bit harsh but the dial feels like a very poor attempt from AP to look and feel modern.

Hopefully they fixed it and the 11.59 can be a proper banger.

Did you view the Gen 1 or Gen 2 dial?

Gen 1 dial is flat.

[attachmentid=10911113]

[attachmentid=10911114]

Gen 2 dials are fume dials.

I got cock blocked by my wife when I wanted to pull the trigger on the Code 11:59 silver dial with two tone case. Yellow gold middle case sandwiched with white gold outer case. She said I just bought a watch, so soon want to buy another. lol

If they change the dial and coupled with that movement though, it's gonna be another classic.

AP right now is Royal Oak and that's sad, given all the talk about them being holy trinity but they are only surviving and milking that one range.

Same thing with Vacheron. They are milking their Overseas sampai waiting list is now closed, from what I have heard.

Patek Philippe also milks their Nautilus and Aquanaut line. Nothing else will sell except maybe for that limited edition Calatrava in steel, which was limited edition.

AP also have two lines to milk - Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore.

So, yes, your statement holds true for all 3 Trinity brands.
