Already dropped hasn't it? Daytona from about us$25k to about us$20k.

Dropped a while ago.

People are hoping it will be near to retail, obv for most steel model that won't happen anytime soon.

The 11.59 looks like a expensive version of DW though.

Hopefully they fix the dial because the movement is superb.

Have you seen one in person? The double convex glass is difficult to take pictures of. But if you have seen one in person you will realize that it is not a DW clone.

The double convex sapphire glass is a defining feature even from a feet away. You will know that it’s a Code 11:59 straight away.

Just my opinion though.

Yep, handled it as well. Everything is really great except the dial design.

It was widely derided when it first appear which was a bit harsh but the dial feels like a very poor attempt from AP to look and feel modern.

Hopefully they fixed it and the 11.59 can be a proper banger.

Did you view the Gen 1 or Gen 2 dial?

Gen 1 dial is flat.

Gen 2 dials are fume dials.

It's equally ugly.

I got cock blocked by my wife when I wanted to pull the trigger on the Code 11:59 silver dial with two tone case. Yellow gold middle case sandwiched with white gold outer case. She said I just bought a watch, so soon want to buy another. lol
Ok bro.

If they change the dial and coupled with that movement though, it's gonna be another classic.

AP right now is Royal Oak and that's sad, given all the talk about them being holy trinity but they are only surviving and milking that one range.

The 4500v rrp costs few hundred bucks more than a Royal Oak, IMO, I think it’s not worthy to buy overseas anymore...

Each to his own...
*
You can't buy one now anyhows lol.

VC isn't exactly the most popular brand just a year or so back. But the non-availability of the other brands suddenly made it hot. So now they also stop waiting list.

Market's gaga.
