half way through my sleep, heard a very pronounced malicious laughter and then felt cold sharp things running through the side of my body, much like sharp thin claws (fingers).

chanted the "Lord's Prayer" in my mind and finally the ordeal ended, got up and ran to my parents. trying to figure out what happened and only realized, I picked up a random coin that was on the outside floor of the restaurant we have lunch earlier that day.

if memories served me right, the coin was "particularly" heavy to lift from the floor, as if there was a magnet holding it down.

ever since then, never dared to pick up anything I saw on the streets.

one of those CNY family trips/holidays we take annually - apparently, my mom heard from her colleagues that Harbin's ice sculpture thing is an event not to be missed but ironically the only event that became memorable was this.

without totally discounting the fact that an "afterlife" really exists, this can actually happen. at the moment, we are unable to prove but we know that there's a 4th dimension to this world as there is our dimension to the 2nd.

perhaps when we die, we "disintegrate" into decipherable atoms which adhere to the laws of the 4th dimension. perhaps all the events stated in holy books are an account of sightings of 4th dimension beings but no one could understand the nature of things back then and just simply describe it as "miracles".

some times a door latch does not fit in nicely with the strike plate due to improper assembly.

although it appears to you that you have engaged the lock and close the door, due to the improper assembly, the latch does not sit in.

as for the "pushing", is there a draft in your home - wind currents at your home.

you can reproduce them especially in condominiums if your front door and the balcony door is open - a gust of wind will flow through continuously and is capable of slamming doors.

paragraph 1: did you spot the supposedly ghostly figure in an open alley in front of houses OR within the old flat compound?

paragraph 2: the office in your school opens at night to sell stationaries?

paragraph 3: no, it is not uncommon. what you are experiencing is called a "monologue", many people have them. do you mind elaborating what sort of trouble that you got out off with the help of this "guardian" that you are referring to.

paragraph 4: how do you know your "friend" has 3rd eye since there's no way for you to confirm her claims - and how old is she when she confide to you about her "gifts".

1. i see, if that the case then perhaps it could have been a phenomena called "Pareidolia". you were young (small - maybe imaginative) it was dark (electricity is down), it was an old flat so it could have been someone's laundry hung outside to dry and the "sighting" was along the walkway (narrow) therefore no reliance on any peripheral vision. it's quite impossible that your parents did not catch a sight of "it" and could have quickly dismissed it as anything but supernatural.

2. that's some creepy management going on there - opening the office/bookshop selling stationaries at night. you sure the night school you attended to was actually there and not some Spirited Away thing o_O?

by the way, was a little confused. you first said that you were in primary school and then you went to SMK (indicates secondary). correct me if I'm wrong, do you mean that you went to a Chinese primary school and then advanced to a "kebangsaan" secondary school?

this bright green "entity" - was it emanating any light or it just light up like a pendaflour or more interestingly, was it "pulsating"?

what does this "entity" look like to you back then?

3. this event that you described, I'm a bit hard-pressed to believe that it was your "guardian" that alleviated you from the predicament you were in. you were in primary school so losing money (especially monies not belonging to you) is a big deal, the thought of serious repercussions filled your mind, you panicked and you lose focus. i prefer the explanation that because you lose focus, you got involved in an accident and then the sudden impact blacked you out.

obviously the driver in the van would pay you off because he was in a van and you were cycling and you were like 12 years old (at most?) - it's a payment to shut you up because if your parents file a police report, the driver in the van is going to be in a lot of trouble.

you would do the same if you were in an accident with a motorcyclist because either way, the motorcyclist can and will claim against your motoring insurance.

i'd be more convinced if you said you blacked out, fell and found the lost money on the ground. that's supernatural.

4. given that mass hysteria is a proven event that could commonly occur where there are groups of people gathering (such as camps etc), i'd wager that what she felt was the aftermath of a trigger event, a ripple (if you may).
