Story 3:

This happened in 2009. I was working for an MNC at the time and I spend 2weeks every month in a hotel room either in Malaysia or Singapore. At that point of time, I have been doing that for around 3 years. Except for an incident in Singapore where my room was messed up with my clothes thrown all over the room, I had no other paranormal encounters in hotels.

I checked into this hotel in Melaka, situated beside a shopping mall. I liked staying in this hotel as it is conveniently located. I had stayed there many many times, but normally my room balcony is facing the supermarket or the hotel open air carpark in front of lobby. But this time, the balcony is facing the old shops..towards where the famous sate celup is.

On the first night itself, I kept feeling like I saw a shadow in my room from the corner of my eyes. But I dismiss it every time, telling my self I'm probably tired from long work hours. I have a habit of watching TV3 nightline before I go brush my teeth and sleep. On the 2nd night, while I was sitting at the end of my bed, staring at the TV screen just 1 meter in front of me, the shadow passed between me and the TV from the left to the right towards where the balcony is, and went out from there. I can't recall which floor I was at, but it's the 3rd or 4th highest floor! Thankfully she's not looking at me when she passed.

I couldn't dismiss this anymore. I wanted to immediately leave the room, but my feet just couldn't move. I sat there don't know for how long, maybe just minutes. But it felt very very long. The news is still playing on the TV when I can finally get up so it is definitely not very long. I didn't take anything, not even my wallet or keycard or phone. I took the lift and went straight to the lobby, sit on one of the chair and then started shaking, and vomited on the carpet.

The receptionist called the manager on duty to talk to me. They sent their staff to go up to my room, pack up my things. I was offered another room, one that I have stayed in before but I declined. The hotel assigned a staff to sit with me all night till morning and waived all charges of my stay. In the morning, I called up my boss asking for emergency leave and drove back to KL. I had high fever for the next few days.

Since that incident, I have never gone back to this hotel on my subsequent travels to Melaka.

Cremation has no effect, the soul still guard the place where the ashes are placed, just think of it like a normal grave is landed property and the columbarium are Condos.

I think I will share one of the story that made me learn a lot about the concept of Hell. if you all want to know, wandering spirits can actually hide from people that can see them if they wanted to. I remember I made a trip to Genting with my coursemates after our final exam, I was driving, and after the trip, we drove back to our hometown, my coursemates were all from the same hometown, so of course the last one to go home was me lor. I remember reaching home wee hours of the morning, around 4am. As my brother opened the gate. he tapped on my car window and told me someone riding on top of my car, ask me to halau first before driving into the carpark (then he went back to sleep). So I got down from the car and saw that a wandering spirit was really sitting on top of my car, a Malay Pakcik. (so for people with 3rd Eye, maybe you can confirm if this was common, but for me, when communicating with spirits, more like you are saying something in your heart, not spoken out verbally). I ask the Pakcik what he wants and why he follow me back. The Pakcik told me, he has been stuck in Genting for a long time, then saw my car passby and he felt that I can see him, so he tag along, and he wants me to help him "crossover".

I don't know why, maybe I was in a good mood, so I told him can he wait near the bamboo groves near my house (now you all know why never plant bamboo in your house compound). Few hours later I call my Sifu to ask what should I do, my sifu just told me do a simple ritual to help him cross-over, just need to prepare some stuff and chant some simple sutras. So I did lor. Prepare the incense, some hell money and offering of fruit, meat and Guinness. As night came, I told the Pakcik, "Are you ok if I use Buddhist way to send you cross over, as I do not know Muslim way"...he replied whatever as long as can Jalan.

So started to burn the incense and candle, then burn a request with the Pakcik's name, while chanting, then stop chanting and burn the hell notes. The Pakcik recieved the money after completely burning it and ask what are these for? I told him later there will be hell guards coming to escort you to the place you suppose to go, these are to eh...hmmmm..give to the guards as derma ikhlas (not bribing ar..derma) few moments later, the Hell guards came, started to enjoy the offering and drink the Guinness, then saw the Pakcik giving them the derma and the Pakcik left with the guards.

Nest day I went to my Sifu's place and ask him, how come our Buddhist way works on a Muslim? then he told me how the system works.

So to explain it so that all the k'tards here can understand. Basically Hell is like a SSC (Shared Service Centre0 just like large conglomerate has an SSC for Payroll and such. A soul is brought down to hell and there are 18 levels, each level has a judge and each level punishes for different bad deeds, example Soul A will report himself to Level ! that punishes for Greed, and the judge will read to the soul what kind of Greed sin that the soul has committed and how long he needs to spend at Level 1, after he pays of for the Greed Sin, he goes to level 2 that punishes for being unfilial, if Soul A did not commit any Sin of this type, he moves to level 3 and so on. So at the end of the Level 18, the individual reps from the Souls's religion will come and take the Soul to the next point.

So the hell is SSC, what about people that have no religion? or people that are in cult or in lesser known religion apart from buddhism islam and christianity? is there such thing as a true religion?

I have a Sabahan friend who told me about her father getting possessed by animal 3 to 4 times a year. Specifically, this is a centepede, according to her, he will be normal and suddenly just drop on the floor and start moving like a centepede. Regardless when he was watching TV or eating or sleeping, it happens randomly. The family has accepted this, they are normal with it and do not disturb as he would crawl towards altar and stay in front of the altar for a while before coming back to sense. Never did self harm or anything like that.

So my question is:

1) Is this for real? Animal spirits are also wandering the earth? And capable of possessing someone?

2) If yes, then why we dont hear this in states like KL? Such incidents seems to only happen in east malaysia.

My uncle had a similar incident happened to him , not possessed but disturbed by a strong animal believe to be in form of Datuk Kong,

My uncle was a diving instructor in Pulau Perhentian, he stayed there for many years and only come back to KL and Melaka during typhoon season at year end

Those who stayed at isolated and undeveloped island will know, there are many spirits and datuk kong lurking around in the forest, most of them taking form of animals like owls, insects like centipede scorpions or crows and the golden rule if you'd met them is to never disturb or kill them,few years ago, My uncle's staff (few indonesian) saw a black python snake ( damn black with no other colors ) hiding inside their outdoor toilet jamban, the indonesians without knowing anything about Datuk Kong proceed to hack the python to death with a parang and removed it.

Few weeks later, when they were coming back from mainland after buying oxygen tank to use on diving, the oxygen tank exploded on the boat, few of the indonesian got heavily injured and need to go to the hospital, but luckily nobody died.

After that incident, my uncle kept having nightmares about the black snake haunting him, every night will wake up during midnight from shock of the dream and cry with my aunt, my relative from Melaka after knowing what happened went to seek bomoh for advise and they confirmed they've disturbed a powerful datuk in the forest, after that went to proceed to do prayers and offerings to "appease" him.

After that incident, my uncle decided to close shop because still traumatized and decided to move back with my aunt, to date no more nightmares or incident happened but his personality changed a lot after the incident , he used to be cheerful and talkative but nowadays seems more absent minded and tired looking.
