My father passed with cancer.

Before he passed, we bought him a door bell to ring whenever he needed something. He was too weak to speak by then.

After he passed, the same door bell kept randomly ringing despite nobody pressing it.

We kept it for months and it would ring for months.

Any strange things happen other than door ringing?

Nope. But my cousin said he was visited by a young version of my dad on the day of his passing. He was smiling and waving and then he walked towards the light.

My cousin is a very religious person though. Unlike myself.

Ahh.. I think it’s just an energy left behind.. Or.. perhaps your dad still visits home and missing his family something 🙂  just like the way he communicate with you before passed, he do the same thing now If he wants to say something or wants to alarm you. Do you notice if after it rings you experience bad luck, or problem? Or something like that?

Nope, on the contrary it's been nothing but great luck since he passed.. our lives just falls into place now, like it is guided by someone higher up..

Yes, your cousin is right.. he’s in a good place. By the way when i read your story I feel a calm breeze with dry cedar, incense, ginger, aromatic woody scent..

I still rmb the day he passed.. entire immediate family was around his bedside. My family lives all over the world. Since young, we each choose different countries to live. Even my father who worked in Dubai and Qatar for a decade. So it was rare that everyone was around. Including our grandparents who had no idea he was that sick.

He was taking his last breathes and we were playing his fav Elton John soundtrack. Then my grandfather told my dad not to hold on anymore and go. He listened and took one final breathe then stopped.

It was so calm. He showed us that there is nothing to be afraid of about death. You will get to pick the time to take your last breathe.

Ever since that moment, i have no issues about death. Sure, it will suck to die early but death is death. There's nothing that can be done. All that can be done now is to ensure my children grow up with a fatherly figure and a secured enough future, but not so easy that they get too comfortable with life.

Struggle in life is necessary to build resistance in times of trouble.

And not every ghost story has to be a scary one... LOL!

ya, I got the thinking that if ghosts truly exists, most are actually just lost wandering souls that mean no harm..

Maybe they want some attention, that's all.

Unless you referring to syaitan or those western type of spirits straight from hell..
