I know there's one piece of land in Putra Height Melaka bought by this very rich developer in melaka to build his bungalow, no matter how many times he tried to built the bungalow many things would happened to his contractors, either get sick or fell down from the roof while building the house, until a point where until now not a single contractor dares to finish his bungalow, the bungalow is still lying there in Putra Heights and you guys can see it from outside the taman because its just beside the main road. ask any senior contractor or valuer they would know about this story

Not sure a ghost story

Many years back, I went a trip with two ktard at langkawi. .The hotel quite nice and during night time, I heard someone whispering in my ear and ktard (girl) slept beside me on another bed. So...I thought I think too much and force myself and sleep...Guess what, I had bad dream and I was like wtf.
After I went home, I had high fever for one week.

But probably I feel or think too much..

Ah, i experienced this before when i was small, around 5 or 6 years old. My parents bought me to a place that is a bit 'keras' for some kind of family outing, in Kuala Linggi 

When i back home, i got a high fever for almost 2 weeks. Went to a few doctors and took all sorts of medicine, but unable to cure. No improvements at all.

So what happened next was one of my relatives bought me to those Chinese bomoh, and they gave me a paper amulet (some sort of tangkal) which already they already prayed upon. The amulet was then burned into ashes and put in a hot water to drink. So yea, ayam is basically drinking a hot water with paper ashes in it.

And voila, ayam is healed  . Since that incident. I started to believe supernatural things do exist after all. .

My old man dabbles in the occult. But the circles he mixed in (long time ago) and the craft he worked on (in the past) was WHITE magic. Not black.

White magic - to protect, to cleanse, to support. To wish a smooth life, or to protect from the unforeseen. To smooth over emotional turbulence, to steady a volatile mind. To bless a loved one, a friend, a new home.

He is spiritually sensitive and can "sense" when our ancestors return to our offering table during Qing Ming or certain special ancestral worship events. He feels the vibrations and they are "good vibes".

Not every goosebump comes from a hostile being. Not every ghost story is of one that is out to scare, terrorize, haunt or cause mischief.

And not every piece of spiritual magic out there is meant to cause harm, damage, destruction.... or death

P.S. Nice counter-attack on the red ghost when you visited your great-grandparents. As I said in my post above... most of the time, it is ghosts and spirits that fear humans, not the other way round, LOL!

May I ask? I once heard that Buddhist chants (not sure about prayers) tend to attract lost souls as they tend to 'feed off of it' , perhaps hoping to obtain salvation from it? I find this explanation somewhat contradictory because when people in certain faith find themselves in paranormal situation they are likely to chant to fend them off, but according to this explanation it might attract more of them instead?

This is especially true for people who has the habit of blasting Buddhist chant CDs in their car (yes, there are people like that) One time I flew in to Ipoh to visit some customers there in my previous job, my distributor picked me up in his SUV, normally his dad would pick me up but his dad pass away few months ago, now the Son fully take over the company. He like to blast Buddhist prayers in his SUV...so at night he came to hotel to pick me up for dinner, and he still blasting..I told him, "Alex, you don't feel you car very heavy one meh? Fuel consumption koyak right....you never feel like a lot of people riding on top of your car meh?? Then I ask if can change the CD to radio or not...I think he immediately catch what I meant and change to radio...after that he never blast Buddhist chants in his car.

Not really bro. Like you mentioned we all need to carry some form of "barang" for protection. My master did mention before acts like what you did for the soul of the malay uncle will bring very good karma, just like donating coffins for those without family members to bury them. But of course what you did is only for those with special abilities.

The poor guy had to close the thread and delete all his posts on the threads because he couldn't take all the trolls, insults by them. You were in that thread too remember?

I think TS ladytarot99 should monitor this thread closely and delete all troll replies. As long as you dont engage them by replying and arguing with them, they will leave this thread alone.
