how is the experience using Elba and how is the support and warranty

I never heard of Smeg and Glem brand
*
So far so good, warranty is 1 year lo, cause its electronic. It is mean for angmoh cooking 1.
Cause the fire is not as strong as normal Stove. Malaysia stove brand all produce to use have high kW Output.
many range stove oven is 30% lower kW output than normal stove. Cause asian cooking require high kW for more wok hei

After 1.5 years using it, im pretty happy, but because i know how to 100% utilize it. (culinary background =P)
Stove there 3x 3.5kW stove top, and 2x small stove for maintaining heat (which i use little cause i didnt maintain heat like many Western cooking for stock, soup)
Oven is the best, there's many function. Salamender (or grill function for laymen) for toasting, charboil heating that part take 5 min only. so i reheat pizza/bread all use this
I put a oven stone to bake my bread, sourdough, pizza, forcassia etc
When i first get, there's sticky fan, but after heating the element for 30 mins, the fan working again. so everything is good
Best of all it is the size of the oven, u can slot 2 Turkey also no prob

Smeg is pro-sumer, premium kitchen brand, it is like Kitchen Gucci brand
Glem also very expensive

Range Oven is expensive, but it is AIO. it is mean for Apartment with small space, but i use it at home

Electrolux +1

Aside from brand, you also have to get the one where its design matches your cabinet

May I know why electrolux is overated?

not only overrated but shit.

i have a washing machine/dryer bought less than a year went faulty on wiring, called technician 3 times still faulty because they outsource the technician, 4th time they had to call an expert from electrolux.

my ergorapido , cordless vacuum , one year went faulty cant put on slow mode otherwise will automatically shutdown.

Oven , rubber on sides falling. Notice it one half year after use.

I've bought quite a lot of ovens as a landlord, many of them bought 2nd hand 3-5 years old.

My findings?

The brands I'd buy?

Bosch, Teka and Fotile. Anything more expensive you are mainly paying for the brand. In Malaysial the more expensive the brand doesn't mean the services are better. One SMEG oven I bought 3 years ago for RM8,000 the touch screen module fried on it and when you get through to the service center which is an absolute nitemare you'll be charged an arm and a leg to fix it, that's if you can find parts for it.

I had many good Electrolux ovens, then I started buying them new.... big mistake. Newer ones are absolute garbage. At 2 of my houses that are rented to an American and a German family, both houses have the same IKEA kitchen cabinets, both houses have the same Electrolux ovens and both houses have the same identical damage. Bad door seals caused the paint on the cabinet doors to have steam and heat damage. Ironically both houses had identical damage despite being used by 2 different families and at 2 different locations. Then one of it had issues with the thermostat... it could be on or off only and when it was on it was full power or nothing at all. They came to remove it and fixed it 3 times saying it was fixed but never fixed. Bloody pain to call them to as once out of warranty they charge you RM90 per trip to come to your house as it is all outsourced these days and that's even if it is under warranty. Then the other one had a noisy fan bearing issue where when you use the fan force function it would make an unpleasant noise. Electrosux considered it to be normal and said nothing was wrong with it. In the end to keep that American tenant happy I forked out RM390 to replace the fan module.

Bosch ovens are pretty good but they are a bit more expensive. 3 of my houses have it and are nearing 5 years old now as at that time I knew someone at Bosch and could get it for a good price. Never had a single issue with it except on 1 where I opted to replace the rubber seal last year as it appeared to be wearing out.

I have 2 units of Teka and my own personal home has one as well that is 8 years and another that is 3 years. I haven't had any issues with it and the only annoyance with it is every 3-4 months I have to disassemble it and reattach the touch screen module as the gel type glue that holds it in place has worn and the module behind the touch pad could detach when you press it too hard. I was told I could bring it back to Teka to fix it permanently but I never got around to doing so.

I also have 2 units of Fotile both are 3 years old. Am big fans of appliances from this brand, their kitchen hood is second to none, electric stoves are fantastic and their ovens are no different, not the cheapest but the performance on them makes up for it.

Lower end brands? Beko isn't bad quite cheap to buy but finishing a bit on the crude and plaid side. Lately Midea is also becoming popular and they are everywhere in China, which is no easy feat mind.

My advice? No need to get a high end oven until you really know how to fully utilize it and forget all them funny coatings, those shit don't work.... buy an oven cleaner and give that oven a scrub every 2-4 months (most people don't even clean their oven once per year anyway)

well electrolux used to be a reliable brand.

nowadays expensive =/= durable

No kidding, bloody stupid Electrosux.

Their oven sucks, their refrigerators are the absolute worst, their washer dryers are absolute pieces of shit.

The biggest piece of shit is their after sales service.
