It is normal for the input to pick up noise. Looks like it is receiving frequency from nearby devices. Your speaker input is sensitive since it is the type connected to PC, not RCA connector, right?

You are using wireless as input. So, it is not about ground loop. Maybe you can short the input to the speaker.

This is definitely not the problem of house wiring.

You probably just need to move the input away from PSU of other devices

The speaker input is in RCA (red and white). The green colour side of the cable is connected to the PC. Thats RCA right?

"short the input"? whats that?

I just change the speaker spot to other place. the buzz is still there, even there is no sound input.

The Red and White is RCA connectors.

I'm not sure how your speaker looks like. The green wire is like this?

Attached Image

or the green wire cannot be removed and it goes straight into the woofer speaker? Your satellite speakers can be detached or always connected to the woofer?

When you said the speaker input is RCA, I imagined that your wire is like in picture. Can you removed the green wire since you are not using it? It will become like antenna picking up AC hum.

Mine is exactly like what you have pictured. Except the connector wasnt there since i am not using my pc now. Now purely on wireless input.

Since the RCA here is for connection to the green type, I believe it is more sensitive to AC power line hum pick up.

There are RCA input termination to terminate the RCA input so that it will not pick external signal. You also can build one like this

However, I think, you have limited knowledge on this perhaps. I was thinking that probably you can cover the RCA input with metal box. See if this works.

I would test if shorting the RCA input with wire would solve the problem, i.e. connect wire between center and the ring around the RCA connector. It is said might damage the input which I think will not for like even 10~15 min laugh.gif I cannot guarantee even though I'm quite confidence wink.gif
